I’ve liked G Jones since 2012 at least... but haven’t listened to any bass music for a long time, this is amazing to come back to, the dreamy melodies that take your to the clouds, the modern drum kits bringing some sharpness to the groovy bass lines, the trap element of rising and crashing, dropping energy into a fusion of sounds taking you on an eclectic trip you can just ride to. Missed this so much!
@py_a_thon2 жыл бұрын
Gjones and glitchmob are basically why I can still point to ableton as cutting edge, and not just some music production oddity of software. That software and the people who fux with it, have actually changed what music is.

Look, I absolutely adored The Ineffable Truth live sets, but they were all the exact same plus or minus a song/effect/ttransition here and there. Which I completely understand because it's the exact same concept as a band having a setlist for a tour based onan album, which is exactly what he was doing. But after seeing them many many times, most of which being in-person live experiences, THIS IS A BREATH OF FRESH FUCKIN AIR! Boy it's so nice to hear new tunes and a different order of he mixing. So so very nice. Also would be cool to hear more DJ sets from him again! Thanks Proximity!

Hulaween 18. kicking it with the fam at the campsite and throwing on your new album that dropped that same day was one of the greatest moments of my life. collectively listening to that new bass for the first time together and exploring these sonic frequencies connected us. our camp neighbors were just out of high school & had never been to a festival before and they got really mad for us bumping your music at 2am because they were trying to sleep. They didn't live there and G Jones just dropped that fresh ❤️ can't stop what was just started
