I have the black/maple. I replaced the stock pickups with Duncan Distortion Tb-6 bridge and Duncan P90 stack Stk-p1n. Great playing guitar.

I like this guitar. P90 and humbucker is for the guitarist that thought they have every style of pickups. Sounds great and the sustain is awesome. Thumbs up on this guitar 👍✌

I have this exact guitar, I swapped out the pickups. I put a Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge and a Bareknuckle True Grit P90 in the neck. Honestly the improvement is marginal, the stock pickups are really great. I also own a Yamaha Pacifica 311 that had really weak stock pickups so I put the G&L pickups in that guitar and it sounds great now.

Very nice demo, Cory. I bought mine "used", and the previous owner had removed the coil-splitting switch, which, turned out to be the better option for me because it does sound a bit "thin" when split. Either way, it's a great guitar. I also noticed that, according to G&L's website, it has a "Brazilian Cherry" fingerboard, rather than Rosewood. Rock on, friend!

I use a DiMarzio Virtual P90 which is a coil-splitable humbucker in a P90 housing, and it will sound like a P90 when you split it, but it will get noisy. I use it in the neck of a Yamaha Pacifica. The bridge is a DiMarzio Steve's Special. Outstanding pickup combo and I'd put it in the Tribute if I owned one.

I have the sonic blues fallout and it plays well through almost any amp, I find myself playing the fallout more and more, than my other guitars.

From Leo: Good Demonstration. You do a great job. I have 4 G&L tribute guitars and they are all great guitars and have been very reliable. The heavy bridges, both the fixed and the tremolo styles are excellent. I need to get an S-500 like the one you tested recently and a Doheny, then that should be enough.

It's trembucker spacing, per the wider version bucker at the bridge.
