Gáldar Gran Canaria - Exploring This Beautiful Canary Island Town - 4K

Welcome to the beautiful town of Gáldar, Gran Canaria. The first guanartemes or kings of the island decided to live in Gáldar or Agáldar there by 1483. The town maintains much of its ancient architecture, being one of the few Canarian cities that conserve part of the pre-Hispanic heritage. Take a walk with me today and explore the historic centre, some of the sights include Parroquia de Santiago Apóstol, Plaza De Santiago & Teatro Consistorial de Gáldar. There are some really beautiful statues along the way and you may also catch glimpses of the incredible mountains that over look Gáldar in the distance.

Gáldar a Beautiful & peaceful town in Gran Canaria, my great grandfather Jose Aleman Martin was from there, and one day in the 19 century moved to Puerto Rico and lost contact with his brothers whom also left Gáldar and moved to Cuba and Dominican Republic. My dream is to someday, visit and get to know my roots ♥️
