Yeees! - a little piece is enough - too much of heaven can bring you underground. 🌄
Chinses classical culture stresses connotation, sometimes you don't make much sounds frequently, but your feelings and thoughts come along deeply and intensely. Guqin always conforms to this principal of aesthetic preference.

You love the pretty Chinese culture that is publicly shown to the world :) Nonetheless "These videos are unbelievable gorgeous and beautiful" is very true!
@2Limm5 жыл бұрын
@@Amodia Conversely Modern Chinese culture is quite similar to ancient Chinese culture. Guqin was played by a small minority of scholars and Philosophers. The instrument is quiet, the sounds are much more muted than what is shown this video. The instrument was designed like this on purpose. For you see, China has always been dominated by capitalist behaviors, the courts and scholars would rule the merchant class as the lowest class a person could belong to, tho the general populace always strived to be a wealthy merchant. Coming back to the guqin, all of the songs are peaceful but have some bitterness or sad theme to them. As they are instruments played among scholars for other scholars, its their own subculture of denouncing the fight for wealth and power that so dominates Chinese society that is still true to this day. So yes, its beautiful, simply because mainstream Chinese culture can be the opposite.

As described in the title, this piece of music was first used in the TV series in 1994 to depict Zhuge Liang. Zhuge Liang(181-234 CE) was a famous politician, military strategist, writer, engineer and inventor during the Three Kingdoms period. He was regarded as the embodiment of wisdom, loyalty and nobility. As he was one of the most esteemed and cherished personage in Chinese history, a large number of people are still worshipping him today.

@@CanKiwi2 Zhuge Liang is a wise scholar who has been ploughing the fields for a living. Until Xu Shu recommended him to Liu Bei. Liu Bei visited him three times and did not meet until the last time. After a day of conversation, Zhuge Liang entrusted his life to Liu Bei. Later, before Liu Bei died, he called Zhuge Liang to his side and said, "若嗣子可辅,辅之;如其 不才,君可自取。( If my son can be assisted, you assist him; if he is not talented, then you will be the emperor yourself. )" Then, Liu Bei said to his son Liu Chan, "事之如父。(Treat Zhuge Liang like me.)" For Liu Bei's dream, Zhuge Liang used his remaining life to fight against fate.

Lol yet this song is originally meant to give sorrowful feelings. Anyway, sometimes it's not necessary to listen to music in a fixed way, as long as you are enjoying it. :)
This is beautiful. Takes me back thousands of years. Especially thinking of him playing this music on the walls as Sima Yi’s huge army stands in front.
I can listen to this music and this instrument all night long as it doesn't have the beat rhythm that Western style music is stamped with that makes you want to jump up and down and wave your arms in the air for a few minutes like an idiot on strong drugs.

For those who don't speak Chinese: this piece of music is in memory of one famous ancient Chinese politician, Zhuge Liang. He was a ideal hostorical character beloved by many Chinese, if not by the most Chinese people. And the name of this piece is "WoLong" in Pinyin, which is an alias of Zhuge Liang and it means the lying dragon. You may find his story here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zhuge_Liang

And listening to this reminds me of his masterpiece I learned in high school :臣本布衣,躬耕于南阳,苟全性命于乱世,不求闻达于诸侯。先帝不以臣卑鄙......Sry I am about to cry, but this is really impressive. I really recommend you read this:en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chu_Shi_Biao
Normally I like music with a more accelerated rhythm, but when I hear you play it makes me want to be able to play like you, and although I do not have the instrument that you use, similar melodies always sound in my head and although that distracts me from what I do in The moment makes me feel very good. I really like your videos, and I hope I can play like you someday 😁😁😁😁😁

Today is Dragon Boat Festival, June 7, 2019. Listening to a song by Jun Fuqin, just like qu Yuan's "Li Sao", his eyes are moist. I think that since qu Zi threw himself into the river, there have been a large number of people with lofty ideals in China since 2096, and all of them have sacrificed their lives for the sake of their country and the world. Only in this way can we have the thought of great harmony today. A moment of emotion, thousands of years of human killing and slaughter, disputes, thousands of years of sorrow is still there, there is no moment of peace, is really saddening!
