The axial Capra has long been one of my favorite RCs, this truck is built on the Capra axles and drivetrain with large boat sides for extreme clearance and CF chassis for less weight up top. This truck has all the right ingredients, will it perform?

The stock 4ws esc and motor are actually pretty nice in my opinion. When you adjust the settings on the esc and run a 11t pinion. The esc is highly adjustable with 14 items.

My G shot is still in the works. I built it using a local made chassis so it needed a bit of tweaking to get it right. I've just got the the body to paint and some ESC tuning to sort before its ready to hit the trails. I'm loving the body it looks really good. I went with a power wagon but I'm kinda regretting it.

That's a cool rig. I'm a fan of Pitbull tires as well. Would be curious to see you run a set of Milestar Patagonias on one of your rigs since Matt form MORR swears by them for that area on full size. RC4wd has them. Also, speaking for dog lovers, you never have to apologize for your dog in your videos. :)

Nice build, shows how capable the G-Shot is even with stock electronics. I'd like to see you run the same trail after he upgrades it. What are your thoughts on running suspension slammed like that? I feel like it doesnt put enough pressure on the wheels at times but it didnt seem to hold you up much.

At like 7:10 when it’s struggling would a brushless system help with more power or would a castle bec be better to prevent brown outs and provide more power to the car and motor itself? I have a truck that struggles the same and I’m debating what upgrade is next. Thinking just a hobbywing system. Good vid!

I am running the same set up as this but my carpa axles are metal and I am going to run a element chassis u wreck it would steal perform well with 110 desert and big sticky 1.9#

I'm wondering if it would be possible to have a two speed transmission just for the front wheels? If you could do this, you could effectively have adjustable overdrive on the front, on the fly.
