I watched an interview where they explained that the reason for the spinning platform is to keep her a bit out of balance so that her performance is more natural and feels less rehearsed. Imagine going to ESC and giving yourself a handicap. Only true artists comes up with stuff like that.

Gåte means "riddle" the instrument is a nykkelharpe, old fashion instrument, and yes she sings norwegian folkglore mixed whith rock. she sings "kulokk" thats when you sing really loud so the cows will return home for the night :)

Wow, you look amazing❤️ Awesome reaction👍 I’m so proud of our entry this year😍😍 The instrument is a nøkkelharpe/nyckelharpa/‘key harp’ Gåte (gaw-teh) has been a band for years (since 1999 when Gunnhild, lead singer, was only 13/14) and are known for being one of the best live bands in Norway🤘 Their genre is Norwegian folk music mixed with rock/metal Ulveham means wolfskin The intro is an old “kulokk”, a “kulokk” is when the women called/calls the cows home to be milked in the summer, often in the mountains. What a wonderful reaction and interpretation of the song and the performance taking place on stage! The band says that Gunnhild is in the eye of the storm, and the storm springs out from her. The rest of the band is out in the storm and being tossed around. Perfect interpretation that it takes place out at sea - precisely where Norwegians throughout all time have fought the hardest battles.

I am from Norway, and so greatfull for all the love you are sending us!! ❤🎉😊 You have to look into the old Norse fairytale the song is built upon!! ❤️‍🔥 Not Siren - though exiting take, - but, her evil stepmother hating her likeness so much that she put several evil spells on her, and at last the spell of having to forever wander the woods alone as a grey wolf!!!🐺 The only way she could ever break the spell and become whole and good again - was if she drank the blood of her own brother!! 🤯😱 And, she did!! As a wolf she finally killed her stepmother- and in that way the same blood as her half brother !!! 💔💔💔 What a horrendous story, and what a power that broke loose in her!!
