Hello my friends it is a day late as I have been traveling around with little signal but I wanted to address the thumbnail issue. In short I’m sorry. I’ve done this before where I look up images of “insert country here” followed by hoi4 and then use images as a base to make my thumbnail. I saw an image of a super imposed red Hungary confederation and I thought that was perfect. What google images did not show was that it was part already of someone else’s thumbnail. So I quickly went and changed that once I started getting notifications. That’s my bad. Usually when I’m traveling around there is less quality control on my end and I messed that up. I could take an easy out and say it was an editor of mine but no it was me trying to make a thumbnail in the few minutes I had before I left for an event and the video was going out The thumbnail was changed. This was not the first time it’s happened and I try to avoid it as much as possible

personally i think its fine cause i spend approximately half a second carefully examining the thumbnail before clicking the video, its not like you are green screening yourself over others peoples videos or stealing peoples ideas. i mean i scrolled past a few suggestions for videos right now so i think a thumbnail from a guy 4 people have heard of is the least of your worries. Others might feel different but it doesnt give them the right to start drama, say in the drama video NOT to do what people are doing rn and then stand by and watch the fire spread.

IMO Hungary is the sleeper hit of this dlc, I've been playing it a lot this week. As usual the communist path is finicky and inconsistent, but even then it gives you a ton of extra research speed and factory output boosts on that path to make up for it. For me it's the mil tree's bonuses to SPGs alongside Bicycle Infantry, which is a really strong combo that's not really viable or even possible in most other countries. Would love to hear your take on rating the monarchist paths!

When I played as commie Hungary I just did the typical and got rid of my military before the civil war started, barring a horse in the queue and it meant that when the war starts the ai leaves Budapest meaning you can take the horse and capitulate the other Hungary, winning the war almost instantly. Also I went down rhe right path rather than siding with the soviets and it meant that you have to attack your balkan neighbours, the way I did it was by attacking Czechoslovakia first, because they gain allied guarantees later in the game but in mid 38 they don't have any yet so they're okay to beat. I then formed a fallback line west of the river and declared on Yugoslavia, calling in Romania who just ran against my lines the whole time, wrecking themselves. If you're playing on historical then it's important to beat Romania before 1940 when they join the axis and I believe you should just take all of Czechoslovakia even if you won't core it all because I think a puppet could reject Sudetenland and pull you into a war against Germany far before you're ready, but I'm not sure
