Very misleading. The conductor is Knappertsbusch, not Karajan. Karajan's recording of this scene from the same year runs faster, and the first 2 or 3 minutes are missing. Please correct this mistake as this might mislead people into thinking that a complete immolation scene conducted by Karajan in 1951 exists.

There was a wonderful round table discussion on german tv with Varnay Nilsson and Moedl. Talking about Knappersbusch Varnay said He said slow but not dragging. You couldn't drag, it was already so slow!
