Oh my gosh, 30 seconds in and I am already tearing up. The amount of progress Beckham has made since his eye surgery is astounding. I watch every single video and every single day Beckham does something new. He amazes me. I am super proud of Beckham. Blakely will be holding full conversations with you in no time, this past month she started saying words so much more clear. Ugh I miss those days so much. Why do they have to grow up. My babies are 24 and 21 now 😢.

Hello you guys! I'm so glad everything went well at the doctor's for Blakely and Beckham. It's a shame about the appointment but sometimes these things happen, it happened to me once and oh my goodness it was so frustrating. I love the double video filming. I had surgery at primary childrens when I was a baby. I have spina bifida. When I volunteered in the er waiting room kids would freak out all the time when they had to get their vitals checked.

He's adorable, praying infection heals quick, I still think he's trying to get oral feedback, which means he's seeking stimulation,, a nuk bruth for mouth excercizes will give him that and improves his tongue better know where to go to improve speech, if he won't let you do it inside his mouth u can do it to start on outer checks lips til he ask for it more in the mouth,

Re Hunter/blow dryer...could he maybe use a space heater (w/ a sturdy base & good shutoff switch if tips) at some distance vs. blow dryer...it seems burn risk would be a concern w/ it so close. Also maybe would be less disruptive to you (Rachel)? Kinda weird that was ever acceptable or seen as safe for him as a kid...but some kids are def superrr stubborn & make their own ways. And props to him for vulnerability in sharing that! New soothing/coping skills might help w/ less to no necessity for it tho...?

My son was the same way he did not understand why these people are trying to touch him. We always had to hold him down. Just so he can get the best care and then give him hugs and lovings at the end. After a while he got used to it and was great after the age of four LOL. Holding him down did not affect his anxiety at all it just of course help the doctor. I always felt bad for it but the doctors there to help and I feel so bad for Blakely little little kids like that little babies do not understand XO

I phone looks fine--She has Strep now too?--Make sure you tell the Doc you just had it---She is running off the table because you play with her that way on the counters at home--one of these days she will dive off when you are not there--Make sure she gets 10 days of meds--to totally get over strep--That is so important because those that develop MS in their 40s--had a strep infection that was not completely treated--That is what MS is caused by--Strep takes 10 days of strong antibiotic meds to get over--even for you! To avoid problems later down the road--I am a 64 single mother of 2 daughters--I learned all this stuff and so much more along the way

I vaguely remember someone needing to sleep with the blowdryer on. If that is the case here maybe try a white noise machine as blow dryers are not meant to run continuously Im concerned if it could be a fire hazzard.
