The 1000hz ace is $119 and you can also use a $10 code to reduce it further. The only difference in specs between the two is 4000hz capability as both use the same sensor, switches & Nordic MCU. In fact the 1000hz is also 2g lighter on average so imo the better buy

Great review! I’ve been seeing a lot of inconsistency in people’s descriptions of click feel on the HTX. The unit we reviewed had way too much pre-travel, which led to a slow, mushy, and almost sticky feeling at times. It seems like G-Wolves click quality is very inconsistent, as I’ve heard some reports of mushy clicks, and some reports of great clicks. Overall though, I would agree that this is a pretty great mouse from G-Wolves.

Yeah I think the point can't be overstated that buying one of their mice is a crap shoot at best... My clicks are goated, but I have no clue if they're cherry picked review samples and I don't disagree that people have had serious issues with their products and service afterwards. Great mouse... If you're lucky enough to get a good copy 🤣

Nice man! Since you have both the honeycomb and solid version, which do you prefer? I see the argument that the ACE at 120 bucks is a complete steal! Afaik the only difference between the 4k and ace is the polling rate limit? They both use nordic mcu etc. And the lower weight of the ACE is because of a smaller battery. So let me get this right. You will still use the HSK Pro over the HTX? I'm also a Ftip-n3rd btw (:

I didn't use the solid shell one as I'm planning to give it away (left the blue skate covers on it). As the honeycomb mouse has solid sides so felt identical for my grip Yeah with a code the 1000hz ace is $109 which is a great deal for a 3395 with Nordic MCU at like 36-37g 🫡 I'm sticking with the HSK Pro personally because the shape just fits me perfectly and it's only 26g 🥲 doesn't make the HTX bad, just prefer the HSK pro 🙏

got the predecessor of this mouse shape. it's not the hati-m but actually the hati-m starlight limited. The main issue I had witht that mouse was that the LMB started double clicking a bit over 14 months. Omron20 switches with poor quality ngl. Aside from the fact that this mouse shouldn't sell above $80, I only hope g-wolve won't have those cheap quality issues again in their current lineup.

Jim is a bit of a wildcard tbh, he's a good guy but it's a bit of a shock if you're not used to his style 🤣 mostly trolling, but not super helpful if you're having a legit issue with a mouse. HSK Pro remains unchallenged for me at least, not to say the HTX isn't a great product, it's just that the HSK Pro is an exceptional one for me at least 🫡

There's a larger battery in the box if you want. Also from a support ticket I had made with them, they currently claim to have no intention to bring it to Amazon. I believe they will change their mind once they see how many units sell. (HTS Amazon release but not HTX? Lol.)

Yeah but the customer shouldn't be expected to open their mice imo, if you offer a spare battery, the swap process should be easier than a product teardown, at least, that's my opinion. I believe they also said the HSK pro and HTS+ would be website exclusive too and both are making/have made their way to Amazon too 🙏

​@@whoisthatthingwhat Pulsar XLite V2 unfortunately only got a 3370 sensor, not the 3395, which imo immediately disqualifies it. Pwnage Stormbreaker looks interesting, but I'm not a fan of where the cutouts are it also only has 2000Hz polling. I would prefer a Model D Pro or DA V3 Pro type of mouse where it's all solid shell but weighs a bit more or like this HTX it's all solid shell and still really light. Unfortunately, the Model D Pro only has 1000Hz polling and weighs a lot. DA V3 Pro weighs too much but has all the features. Skoll-X needs to come, Jim should definitely look into it.
