The thing that I think a lot of people worry about that you did not mention ergonimics. Looking at how the mouse is used it looks like wrist pain can be an obvious issue + uncomfortable afetr a few minutes of wrist being rubbed on my mouse pad. And the biggest concern, carpal tunneling. So if its not too much can you tell me if people should be concered about that or not
@takecare9150 Жыл бұрын
I never experienced wrist pain with the mouse with over 3 months using it, but I switched back to my superlight recently because I started getting sharp and achy pinky pain randomly, so that could be from the mouse but most likely from me injuring my hand not gaming in addition to how I gripped it, I palm grip the superlight so obviously my pinky would get more rest naturally. Ill be going back soon tho i really liked it.

I think we've been too focused on shape is king for mouse that we've never considered lightweight and small mouse are the ultimate form of ergonomic/comfort. I have this mouse and I thought before I tried it that my aim will improve but it would not be comfortable for long gaming sessions. But instead it does both. I think its due to the fact that it is so light your finger tips only need to exert little to no force to move it and the fact that human hand natural resting position is curled not straight or extended forward. So if you use a relax fingertip grip it would be so much comfortable than any other mouse (even ergos). You could probably test this at home by resting your hand and find that your thumb and ring finger distance when totally relaxed are not far from this mouse width (grip distance). Using this feels like moving your resting hand across the mousepad.

I think you should realize the fingertip mice genre has a specific grip type to use with it, you don't use your middle on the mouse, it's replacing your ring and pinky. Your ring and pinky aren't required for these types of mice. Thumb and middle are for horizontal support and motor movements while only the index is used for clicking/scrolling.

Hey, I think you're critique of the software is mainly superficial. I want my gaming software to be as barebones as possible. I have a pretty mid gaming PC and it's struggling enough with all the launchers I have to put up with. Seeing that software reminds me of making software in Visual Studio, Microsoft's devkit for enthusiasts and professionals alike. Yeah it might not look great, but it's also not loading in anything that isn't present in Windows 95 onwards, so I think they're a chance it could even run on older versions of Windows than intended. It's also not loading in any stupid art assets that are in 4k unnecessarily, wasting RAM because it doesn't unload it from memory when the app is minimized to the taskbar. I just would prefer it to be functional over flashy, but I understand that it's not great UI to see after having it not work in the first place.

One can't even in the newest firmware add macros. In addition one can't programme every button to be whatever one wants. Even poorer software than the steelseries mouses who can't add sidescroll to buttons. The mouse itself is great.
