You should use a whisk for mixing dry with wet, it mixes better And should use spatula to mix the yolk mixture with the Meringue bc the meringue will deflate faster if you fold it with a whisk making ur cake less fluffy

i made this today, it taste really good, but the bottom is little wet, is it because i wrapped the parchment paper inside ?

It may due to your cake pan. Wrap the foil carefully next time
