I think the reason why the autobots can fly only in the first episode is because maybe in g1 they could fly on cybertron and when they got their earth modes their bodys got rid of that ability so it can adapt to the new form... but thats just what i think.

I just re-watched the entire series recently, and noticed that the Autobots are really, *really* trusting here. I mean, they’ve known Spike and Sparkplug for at least… I don’t know… An hour? And they are familiar enough with the base to know where the alarms are.

While it does look like Jazz is second-in-command, and some could suggest Prowl is as well, I think as the series progressed in Season 1 and 2, it became more clear that Ironhide is really the second-in-command of the Autobots.

You know, there IS a fan fiction in which Starscream is an deep cover autobot spy. I recommend giving it a read to anyone who is interested. I kinda wish that would happen some day in an official series or that Screamer would actually become a successful real threat or a good guy in the end and NOT DYING. I know both have been done before, but I want my boy to have an happy ending at least ONES without dying.

G1 is the greatest transformers cartoon why because its what started it all we wouldn't have Beast wars Cybertron Animated Prime Robots in disguise 2001 The movies not including the last knight War for cybertron show and game Fall of cybertron And cyberverse But the best thing about g1 is optimus prime not only my favourite incarnation of the big red and blue truck but my favourite superhero of all time i also love seeing starscreem get beaten up it makes me laugh but that doesn't mean i like all the animation mistakes but i love the movie its way better than the Mickle bay movies
