Thundercraker’s original profile said that he was a decepticon that had thoughts about going to the autobots. Too bad they never explored that, it could have made him a better and more memorable character.

Yeah modern media just makes him a pure evil deception goon who simps over Megatron. In fact I even wrote my own transformer series and I made Thundercracker basically like Armada Starscream with only he doesn’t give a damn about pleasing Megatron and is planing on joint the Autobots as soon as the Decepticons land on earth

Skyfire is the man....I remember when the first episode of him aired. Then that Xmas....Jetfire was on the shelves. Just had to get him. Skyfire or Jetfire....one of my favorites regardless of what you call him.

Interestingly, Thundercracker's original Transformers Universe profile and tech spec card mention his doubts about the Decepticon cause and if he really wants to remain part of it. But no one really did anything with this aspect of the character for many years. Not until the IDW comics. So it's interesting to learn that Sunbow almost did run with the idea and to wonder what would have happened if they had? Excellent review. Thanks!

If I were Skyfire, I would leave the autobots for not dig him up sooner. Plus, I think this is suppose to be a sort of thundercracker episode but not handle well with his character. Also, the part where Brawn steals Megatron's fusion cannon a I believe foreshadowed to Brawn's death.

When you've mentioned about Rhino and Shout Factory's colour problems in episodes, I found out some time ago that the reason was because when these episodes were first released on dvd at all, they had to use some original reels or such, which many were not used on original vhs releases years ago. Some colour mistakes stayed the same from vhs to dvd, but if, for example, the seekers were coloured correct in vhs format, but all looked like Starscream on dvd, it's because of some of the older prints they used when making the dvds. It's the same reason when a character might transform in reverse. When the release rights changed from one company to the other, they didn't bother to correct anything.

Speaking of Screamer, TC and Armada, what I find interesting that Aramda cartoon literally blended SS and TC together into one. If you look at the toys and comics character description for both SS and TC and take a look at what happen in the cartoon, you can clearly tell that's what they did ( not to mention the literal paint job upgrade near end of Armada ). I can't believe that my favorite depiction of my angry jet boi is a blend of two jets.

From my understanding, Starscream and Thundercracker had their personalities swapped in reference to their toy bios being accidentally swapped until they were corrected afterwards. It's strange though, you'd think Hasbro would have made that decision, but they obviously went with the finished script to air it instead of what you mentioned. Still, Decepticons changing sides isn't unheard of. It's a familiar concept, really. I'd go through a list of Autobots and Decepticons that changed their allegiance, but that would be overdoing it on a comment section such as this, there wouldn't be room, anyway.

Ouch! Thundercracker just roasted Megatron and Starscream! I laughed at that moment when I saw the episode. Poor Megatron’s ego. Also loved the Skywarp parts where he laughs and called Starscream Screamer. I love the Seeker trio.

This is my all time favorite episode of the original series, because it gave screentime to my all time favorite Transformer, Skywarp. The scene where Megatron puts him in charge of the other two seekers and he just gives the most douchey laugh ever is just too good.

This one of my favourite episodes,it was very fun to watch but it was a haram that the original script of Thundercracker repairing Jetfire was scrapped,fortunetly this idea wasn’t completely gone because we see Thundercracker becoming good in the IDW comics
