The same could be said when Starscream possessed Waspinator in Beast Wars, he speaks with his voice rather than Waspinator's. But other times I can recall, someone possesing something else speaks with a different voice. Like Elizabeth in Circus Baby, or Susie in Twisted Alice Angel (At her sadistic state), or Rebecca in Amanda the Adventurer. But other times I can think of when they have their normal-ish voice when living is either because of some unclear why, or in the case of a robot, they don't have a voice box. Like Spring Bonnie, Lefty and the Puppet

@@SilverStreak9841uoattob the dialogue would have made more sense Shockwave stayed on Cybertron and probably had several battles with the quints When screamer says it's your old buddy we never seen screamer and octane hang together but all decepticons knew screamer he was just too popular Octane was never known to remember thundercracker but shockwave and. Blitzwing definitely fought beside thundercracker Then sandstorm.cslled octane older module octane might have been millions of years old but he didn't sound old shockwave and blitzwing was war vets Sandstorm part was supposed to be springer but Hasbro wanted octane and sandstorm advertised Sandstorm can hang around octane he wasn't in the war for decades or eons like most of the autobits

Season 3 had a few unofficial story arcs, but really screwed the pooch when it came to airing them, because it ends up not making much sense. For this arc, best to watch "Fight Or Flee", "Thief In The Night", "Starscream's Ghost" and "Ghost In The Machine" in that order to follow the story better.

My guess as to why Rodamus figured out it was Starscream so fast is the Wisdom of the Primes from the Matrix. While it's not as consistent in as in the Prime series, the Wisdom of the Primes gives aid to each new Prime, allowing them to learn from the experiences of those that came before them. Rodamus likely was able to use that knowledge to put 2 and 2 together much faster than the other bots and cons.

I wouldn't say Galvatron "fought off" the Autobots, considering the bad shape he was in. He may simply have escaped their assault. It's a pity Octane never made a return after this short arc. It would have been interesting to see what became of him. Did he return to the Decepticons, or the Autobots?
