I wonder if you are able to set the translation to English-English and it will pick that up and take in English speech and “translate” it to English text.

Great review of these glasses. I'm a glasses wearer who's due a new pair and looking at the smart options. These shine for the HUD & translate and the Meta for the Camera and Headphones. The latter has more of a pull for me for the camera but it's sad that it's only Spanish, French and Italian that are coming to the meta glasses (first of all). Like you I'm hoping that an all-in-one is coming soon.

Thanks for the review. Some questions...how well do the waveguide eye boxes align with your eyes? Other AR glasses tend to put the eye boxes in the center of the glasses lens rather than higher up off center like these do. Also can people easily see green tint headon or from the sides? I heard you have to look from below the glasses to see the tint. I hope they make a square design as well for those that don't like the panto shape. HAOS has alot of potential as well to add more information to display from your phone like step tracking, stop watch, countdown timer to mention a few. A mode for always displaying certain info as small hud text like maybe steps or time and date would be nice if the battery can still last a 12 hour shift. I don't mjnd charging every night because i don't sleep with glasses on Outside of that wishlist everything about them seems great. I only worry how well they work on iphones because ios is notorious for glitching third party apps at times

I only use iOS and no issues at all throughout any testing! There’s quite a good range for these and you can adjust the text up / down by some margin - honestly zero issues with visibility for the text. It’s very clever because if you focus on it, it’s so readable yet you can look through it and ignore it very clever. I think there’s a TON of potential and can’t wait to see where’s it heading!

I have a question I hope you could answer. Does this device create captions, my wife is deaf and I was wondering if it could show captions for English not a translation but just captions. And does this need to be connected to the internet to work? Thanks in advance.

Just got shipping information yesterday and it took 7 weeks. I checked in periodically with support for updates and they said they were overwhelmed with the amount of orders during and after pre-order.

Hey dude I was sent these for a review but I was told whilst waiting for them there was a little delay - I can understand it’s getting frustrating I hate waiting for tech too man. Hopefully they’re able to sort out the issues and get them out to the masses!

Hi Adam. I'm looking for some glasses that will transcribe speech-text in line of sight. Preferably work with Google Transcribe. Does this work on these glasses?

@@antipodesblackmailbox78 not google transcribe it uses its own thing for that as shown in the video. It works from my testing but I cannot confirm how accurate as it was just from a KZbin video and not someone speaking a different language to me
