Bad luck and one misscalculation was what it took. Caps shared in an interview with Caedrel after the game that they went for the baron because they thought Bin had used his TP for the dragon play. With that in mind, the baron call was a good call for snowballing the game. However, because of that misjudgement they lost the game. Really tells you a lot about just how these minor details affect the games, and how even the smallest misread can lose you the game.

The call was actually good. The reality of the situation is three players made a terrible call that led to BLG turn being maximized. - Baron was down to 4k health. Yike had his ult up. There was no one to contest his smite since Skarner is too far away. Mikyx can top him up on any poke. The call to go on Rumble was horrendous. His teammate was slow on the take. He has vision on Sylas and still decides to go in. - Mikyx had his W on the Ryze and doesn't even realize he is healing the ryze. The second he realizes it is when he goes to use his E and realize it's on Caps resulting in him having to waste his flash on a situation already being awful. Just 1-2 sec of Xin living longer means Renekton can arrive in the fight to clean up while Kalista is still alive. - Hans Sama uses flash on the Rell when all of the DPS is focused on Yike. He kills the Rell that posed zero threat and ends up having to front line vs Sylas and dies. Jeez I wonder what summoner spell would have been handy to kite the sylas? Hans also had cleanse as well. The best call was to just do baron. The onus was on BLG to force a play since Xin was never going to be low. They had Kalista rend as back up smite. The renekton was there quicker than the Skarner was going to join. It was on BLG to make the play and somehow these three players all decided to make the worst call.

@@jporob my guy what are you on? I already said G2 trolled game 1 draft, with your logic if both sides drafted nicely it would most likely be a 1-1 after game 2. But even after all that, unlucky shit happened with kalista e+zhonya interaction fked it all up. On top of that the long pause and broken mental of G2 it was just so over in a very anticlimactic way. But to be fair G2 nash at game 3 should never have happened anyways...

Like aside from the fact that the combo is so obvious and almost always predicted it is sooo easily countered by either a flash or zhonyas. When it is countered which is %90 of cases since people arent dumb, 2 people are instantly out of the fight since nocturne is a shit champ without ult's influence just like orianna. And the amount of teams that kept losinf with orianna nocturne is mind blowing to me like why do they keep playing it???

Maybe its a pressure from the elimination match.... This is why LEC should be more competitive. It's better to have 4-6 team fighting for champ than 1 team region for long time. They never have to fight with the pressure of being elimitnated in LEC so they might not be familiar with it. Or it might be they are not familiar to fight with the team that equally strong/ stronger than them(except in world and MSI(1month per tournament) which is only short period compare to LEC regular season (3-4month per season))

GenG literally drew WBG, TES, and HLE to qualify for Knockouts, and no one’s crying about how their draws are “unfair.” G2 players have already stated in interviews that their goal was to win Worlds, and if that really was the case, then even more so that the draws shouldn’t matter as you have to be capable of beating any team to win it all.

you are completly clueless about why they lost, actually brokenblade inted that on the 2nd game multiple times, Mykix did Mykix things : outpositionned and got killed multiple times, and they didn't ban skarner when it was the most high winrate champ on asia team against them (ref T1 before). They litteraly picked the same comp game 1 when they got reviewed the day before. Putting Yike on Noc with absolutely not possibility to do shit early game against KR that are super strong on teamfight. The problem was at least, their coach. Not Caps going on "mages" because his Ryze was perfect.
