Now that I've finished watching, if I remember correctly, this was recorded at what was T1's 2023 "peak" before Worlds. They came into the 2023 Spring finals having already beaten Gen.G in the winner's bracket semi-finals after an already impressive regular season, but the finals ended up as shown in the video, and then the following Summer season was disastrous. Faker was unable to play for many weeks because of a wrist injury, T1's performances collapsed without him, and they were at real risk of not even making playoffs. It's warming to know more about the chefs who (alongside the other staff) were there for the players through the Summer season to help T1 back up through their stuggles, rally to reach playoffs, manage to place second regionally once again, and then were even able to fully support them during T1's home World Championships-with T1 becoming Korea's last hope from their quarter-finals match onwards as they romped on to become world champions once more. Not only did they erase the demons from the previous year's World Championship finals loss to DRX, but this victory also made them decide to stick together, as coming into the 2023 World Championships they had considered parting ways after spending many years together as a five. I can't imagine how overjoyed the head chef was after all of that.

Kudos to capturing the vulnerable moment after the 2023 LCK Spring finals loss. It would be easy to film after a win when everyone is in high spirits but it takes a gentle soul to want to go ahead and capture the feelings of sadness after a loss where most YT creators would probably feel awkward filming. After all, not everyday is going to be rainbow and sunshines. This + the insane societal pressure/work ethnic of Asian culture. From the players to the chefs. I think I remember news about upset fans sending literal trucks to T1 HQ after a loss or something. Also here before this video blows up Alvin ❤
@ArthrexxАй бұрын
The trucks were because LS got hired by T1 and the Koreans hate his guts for his strange, but sometimes correct, takes. Like that neither players nor coach really understand the drafting phase, which often leads to suboptimal picks and bans. Which is certainly true.

This is beautiful. Your team did some amazing work shooting, this is a cinematic moment and you captured and documented it beautifully. That chef and his team deserve eternal praise. Seeing the inside of T1's HQ is baffling, it is such a glorious place for a glorious team. T1 Fighting!

It makes me happy to see how the Chef really feels about his job for the teens, it’s super interesting too. He/They care so much about these guys and their food intake but also worries (as much as anyone else would) for them.

Hahaha it’s quite deceiving, but Faker is actually 28, although he does look younger.

It appears that it is the same part of our brain that controls cooking, singing and driving. So if a person if good at one of them, she probably good at all three.
