i'm a TL fan but G2 absolutely wrecked them in every game. i may just have to become a g2 fan, they are so much more fun to watch, with much more interesting drafts and bolder strategies. shame, because Impact is such a good player, and Xmithie had an excellent series versus Invictus. but TL got outplayed so hard by G2

As much as I'm happy for G2 to finally win an international tournament 8 years after Fnatic won season 1 Worlds, I think EU still has a long way to go to win Worlds. They may have defeated Korea's finest in SKT (which was in my opinion the real final) but they have yet to defeat IG. And only then they can call themselves "legends". I can't wait to see a rematch between them and G2, should it actually happen.

Difference is that G2 had a proper set up to do most of those things. Only time I personally can remember they didnt was the Jankos gank mid in game 3 where he died for it. Otherwise although it may look fiesta like G2 make sure they can play like that through correct steps like wards and info on whereabouts of enemy team members. Whilst IG during the semis were too lazy do go through all required steps to making sure they would have the upper hand. Instead they just thought that they are the better players hence it will just work out. G2 stomping TL like this is actually showing respect to TL and the fact that they punished IG for not doing their set ups properly. G2 learned from IG mistakes and made sure to not even give a chance to TL who have shown that they can get rolling against the best. I am a G2 fan and I believe that if G2 did not show this kind of respect it would look exactly like the TL 3:1 IG semis and NA would be the one taking the cup home.

Nuno Ramos Pacheco full import isn’t necessary given that TL recently beat G2. The issue here is that the star of the team underperformed heavily while the rest of his team had stepped up leaps and bounds consistently through all of MSI. (Impact especially has preformed much better than anyone was expecting, and doing splendid in many matchups he should have lost on paper.

Team Liquid seemed absolutely clueless at champ select. They should've banned Jarvan and Xayah, got a tank jg that can initiate team fights (ie. Hecarim/Nunu), and got a zoning adc and heal/shield mage support (ie. Sivir and Lulu/Lux). Also should've made Doublelift take teleport and have top and mid champs that have carry potential in case Doublelift got camped to death.
