Unless you did it off camera the priority queue for insanity is set for equal instead of high priority. There is a certain distance from the entrance to the queue and the ride where priority passes can't go. You can always start the priority entrance a bit later in the queue. The best spot for food and drink stands is in very busy areas of the park which usually happen at big intersections of paths. So later down the road you can add some shops on the back side of insanity and kick flip. It's actually cheaper to research at the lowest monthly rate than the max. I still haven't gotten around to testing which shops are the best as I'm still working on my challenge park. I can see a coaster coming soon in the next couple episodes. The American Arrow coaster is perfect because they are known in real life to have quite janky transitions! (and typically run 2 trains) Block sections make running multiple trains easier and cheaper because a long station is much more expensive than a block section

For shops I know Chief Beef can turn monthly profits of upwards of 1-1.5k if you do "a lot" of all extras and charge $19 for the xl and 14 for the regular. Outside of that I'm still going back and forth myself with everything but haven't been able to replicate anything close to that. Pipshot Water is really good for drinks but never seen it get over 750 with what I've been able to test so far. Doesn't help that some extras make guests more nauseous or some drinks have "more thirsty" making them complain about wanting a drink. Energy drinks (so Gulper Energy and Street Fox Coffee) don't sell as well if you have a lot of benches either

If you sacrificed some prestige for shorter ride times, you might make more money overall due to higher ticket sales. Also I wonder if the long ride durations is contributing to the rides breaking down more often.

This, you keep doing the prestige/35 calculation but you should be calculating $ per second of duration. A 500 prestige ride at 30 seconds is much more profitable than a 1000 prestige at 120 seconds

I play on Xbox and I hold down the A button so I think if you held down the X button it should bring up a menu and select the one that says “select grid”. I hope this helped 😊
