Family Jonson bought the house because the game thinks it has two kitchens. The sink behind the bar and maybe some other things turned the basement into a big kitchen. Family Jonson wants grandma to have a section of the house for her self with all the rooms she needs including a kitchen. So if you have more than one room that the game counts as a kitchen the Family Jonson will allways want the house. Even if it has only one bedroom.

I’m not sure what you mean by “pet house” maybe the Pets DLC? You can find it on Steam, but it isn’t available to download yet.

Just my humble appinion, but I think you use too much of the same color in a room. Always dark colors. I think mixing dark with light or pastel works great. Just saying. You can totally ignore me, even tell me to mind my own business.
