I started by discovering R.C. Sproul not even realizing that he was already gone. R.C. has shaped much of my theology, it was so very hard in his waning days when he wore oxygen tube to know he was slowly leaving us, almost painful to watch, I am so glad they captured so many of his lectures about truly fundamental christianity, he was and is a treasure. The richness of the knowledge of the bible is so evident in listening to these men of God. I really appreciate and thank the Lord that these men always encourage me to read the bible as much if not more than they do. I have come to this twice in the past year, and have been blessed with greater understanding each time, with more clarity of the questions, the second time, and the answers being more impacting, as I've fit myself around the questions. I've come to it, having been out of church many years, caring for my wife, who recently passed from multiple sclerosis, which I share, and brought into the home, and have also recently left my medical treatment, for good cause, bad doctor answers, and no answers. I feel I've been led out of said treatment, having seen it's futility in the end of our 36 years of marriage, and have been able to put more real faith in God, for having fought so long, three decades with this disease, and God remaining primary in my life, while the disease has lost its importance. I don't know where it goes from here, but I know my own faith is immeasurably expanded, I'm sharing more time and faith with our two adult children, and getting more response from them, in return. I am greatly blessed by the cogent, hard questions that strike us all. This "conference" has been full of substance and significant thought, well shared with us, the viewers.

When I look back at yesterday or I'm planning my day today I see it like this. I'm either going to feed my sinful desires or my Godly desires and in between feedings is what I'm living out every single day. I can't have Godly desires if I'm not reading The Word of God daily without fail so before I eat physically I have to eat Spiritually and sometimes it's listening to Voodie Baucham in my car and when I don't desire to hear The Word then I immediately know I've been feeding my sinful desires. It's no different than eating unhealthy and healthy foods because the results don't lie.

If something is evil tell them their fault, I would ask you, but don't just say they are evil and then leave it like that, otherwise there is no reconciliation to God or to you.

People only debate and argue when they don't have any answers and are coming from nonunion and their own intellect leaning solely on their own understanding which the Bible clearly instructs us not to do. But 1st we have to seek union first per Matt 6:33 then being taught by self proclaimed teachers. It's time for a real change and we're in that time where more true followers of the Christ within will come forward replacing the believers with knowers of God.

A sharp 2 edged sword💥🗡THAT SAY'S IT ALL. That It took all these centuries to bring this. If not for internet, some would still be stuck in that church with that preacher , not really growing. BUT for the couple of pastors (on TV) who enLIGHTened me with the VERSE by VERSE and ALL that the WORD has for ME. NOT just to listen along but to learn that I ALONE (with The Holy Spirit) could do this MYSELF! But to think that all these years, aside from the few who were blessed to have THAT pastor in their Church, the rest were just walking out of their church every Sunday,(?) maybe a little uplifted but much like zombies or not working at the capacity they should as a Christian., as a follower of THE TRUE SAVIOR who left those apostles with much to work with. The pastors most of us grew up with did the sermon, he & some of the members,meet at the local restaurant,(who could afford) some spending the day with family, an evening service and back to life. I'm 60 yr old, Only 10 yrs ago I found a Pastor on TV who TAUGHT VS by VS an IN DEPTH AND MORE! !THE AMAZING WAY THE WORD WORKS THROUGHOUT THE BOOK! THERE IS SO, SO, SO MUCH MORE, I NEVER KNEW AND, AND,AND THINGS JUST MAKE SENSE NOW! When I think of all who may not make it ☝🙏because they gave up because of discretions among pastors, pastors failing them because they FELL, or because they DIDN'T EVEN have The HOLY SPIRIT guiding them! Because if they did , they would've seen these things...would they not? I could go on & on & on but I've gone too long already.Forgive me, please.

I think we put too much emphasis on the way in which people speak. I love all these men but each has their own style. I admit I'm not familiar with these men as much as I wish because I got deceived by the charismatic church and then another cult-like church. I thank the Living God I was raised on the Rock and my foundation is well grounded. I couldn't buy into it and that's when the condemnation towards me began. Paul Washer sounds more depressed to me than angry. However, listen to Paul, Peter, and especially Jesus Christ. They were often harsh. We are the salt of the earth. Salt flavors well, is needed for life but it's abrasive and it hurts when it gets inside of a wound, The amazing thing is, salt has healing qualities. Just my POV. I love hearing them all preach and enjoy their styles because they teach the truth. We often misinterpret the verse "judge not...." and stop there. You have to read the entire text to understand what He is saying. God bless.

P.W,. - "I believe in particular atonement". The phrase is not found in the NT. Nor is the phrase 'Limited Atonement' found in the NT. John son of Zebedee, records the prophet John announcing "Behold the Lamb of God, taking away the sin of THE WORLD." John 1:29. The next day the prophet John says to all Israel, "Behold the Lamb of God." John said of Jesus in his first letter, "And He Himself is the propitiation relating to our sins, and NOT relating to ours only, but also relating to all the world." 1 John 2:2 These 2 statements include the world, that is very particular. Paul says to Timothy, "Faithful is the Word and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners...." 1 Tim 1:15 There is nothing to suggest that there is a "limited" or "particular atonement", that is Christ only came to save SOME sinners. Paul also says that God, "desires ALL men to be saved." 1 Tim 2:4. Jesus is the one and only Mediator between all men and the Father.

allegory is finding spiritual meaning from a literal story. The example of Esau and Jacob was allegory as is the example of the new temple in Christ. Perhaps I don't understand what you mean by allegory? Richard of St Victor wrote the Twelve Patriarchs. It was largely allegory but truthful and effective in bringing home the truth of the journey of the soul in relationship with God.

There are or were 20 -40 years ago were as with many denomination's, be they Calvinist, Baptist, Non Denomination, Protestant, Nazareen, EVF; I have seen liberal, moderate, and conservatives in each and every one I read a lot of the best of Calvinist Pastors and Protestant or Non Denominational. I want a Pastor who is Biblically 99% (as we're human) correct. I never was in a church of Baptist tradition that Played fast and loose with The Word. Picking conservative churches i like heart and pew warning churches that I don't hear >1% or I'm gone. I try to speak with a Pastor if I think I need to keave about the Doctrine or Interpretation if text I am confused about. Now I'm seeing a great liberalisation of the churches. A great falling away and incorporation of social liberalism. Sadly the So Baptist is fallen off the rails and I hope the ones that see the errors come out. Appreciate you all. Thankyou for this.

This was awesome. I learned so much and love the expository answers. God does not change so we shouldn't either. I have a question though, if your church starts performing same-sex marriages, allows unrepentent homosexuals to preach, teach, etc., is it right to leave or stay? Most of the churches in my area that teach the truth (or I thought they did) allow this so I feel cut-off from attending church now. I don't drive so my options are very limited. Any advice? Please don't take this as me hating the LGBTQ community as I do not. My daughter is married to a woman. I love her but all I can do is pray for her. However, since I gave my life to Christ Jesus, she has pretty much taken me out of her life because I won't give her my approval. I can't. Yet I love her so much. God bless you all and how can I restore this broken relationship without compromising the Word of God?

Brenda Alexander I'm so sorry to hear that. It must be a really tough time for you. My advice for you is to get out of that church immediately and find a church that proclaims and live out what the scripture says. There is no compromise to stay in a church that twist scripture to stay relevant to our ever-changing culture. As to your relationship with your daughter, continue to pray for her without ceasing. Trust in the Lord for he is sovereign and take comfort that it is He who calls his sheep, and that he may bring your daughter to repentance.

I encourage all of you out there to challenge any of these men to tell you where you can find “the text” that they speak of. They keep talking about THE text. They should be able to point you to a single volume of scripture. If they can’t, THE text they speak of, doesn’t exist physically for them. Be careful who you believe.
