Making better already the best "making it sound right" utility pedal for pedalboard. Yes, it's not only a programable switcher, it is so much more. It would be really cool if the tuner is in a particular footswitch (say 1 for instance), and accesable by holding it down for a couple of seconds, or maybe by pressing two footswitches at the same time, just to free up all the presets. Not a big deal anyway but it could be really cool, specially in the atom where there are less footswitches. Amazing company and a legendary product!!!

What a unit, hope to be able to put my hands on...one question, the tuner/aux loop is now free, but can i be reordered as any other loop or is simply the first one with fixed in and out gain? It's all the same in the atom, correct?
@chimera25182 жыл бұрын
It's pre- (pre-gain), you can't order the AUX loop which falls before the buffer/booster. This is the ideal loop for pedals that prefer unmolested/un-boosted guitar signal like germanium Fuzz pedals. Still 12 loops available for ordering...

@Hamppzah2 жыл бұрын
Very awesome! I'm curious though, does the aux out become the send of the new loop, and if so, where do you plug the return?

Super cool stuff - is there any plans for G3 or especially atom to take stereo inputs for us Rick-o-sound weirdos and Gibson 345/55 users. Could the aux for the tuner be used for a second input? Or could you perhaps put a TRS input. If you don't ask...
@chimera25182 жыл бұрын
No, I don't believe so, but you can use the return of a loop as a second input & keep the two signal paths separate through whatever other loops you select, then go to their own respective outputs.

The tuner/AUX loop is TRS, not TS. You can use what's sometimes called an insert cable- It's a TRS cable that Y's to two separate TS 1/4" jacks. Google "TRS insert cable"
@sky-magnet2 жыл бұрын
Stellar!!! So I can use the tuner/aux for my volume pedal now and insert it after my gain stages using a TRS cable?
@chimera25182 жыл бұрын
No, you can't order this loop after other loops, it comes before the input buffer. You can put your volume pedal in any other loops though & place that after your gain, watch the Ed O'Brien pedal board build. Watch around the 10 minute mark kzbin.info/www/bejne/sInMe2CKrJ2KhJY
@sky-magnet2 жыл бұрын
@@chimera2518 On the G2 you have a volume insert that you can place anywhere in the chain.
@chimera25182 жыл бұрын
@@sky-magnet That's correct. This however is the G3, not the G2. The AUX loop is fixed in position, pre-input buffer.
@sky-magnet2 жыл бұрын
@@chimera2518 Yeah you can just hold down the phase button and press what loop you want it after on the G2. Since the volume insert is connected to the post gain circuit, you could move the post gain to be right after your gain stages and still keep your trails on your delays for swells when using the volume pedal.
@sky-magnet2 жыл бұрын
@@chimera2518 It’s just that he said it was a programmable loop so it was hoping I could use the volume pedal in it…but maybe I will stick my wah in there instead.

Can't seem to find this, but what loop order number is the aux loop then? Is it always before 1? Can it be moved/re-assigned like the other loops?
@TheGigRigDaniel Жыл бұрын
Hi! The Aux is fixed so it sits before the pre gain. It means that you can use the pre gain as a buffer but post the Aux loop. Let’s say you have the Aux loop in StompBox mode and you kick it in on top of a preset that uses the pre gain, all hell isn’t going to break loose 👍

@@mattonaccirecordingstudio5860 It doesn't occupy a loop, but you could set it for a hidden patch if necessary- you'd just click on the existing patch to access the tuner, then click back after you were done tuning.
