As a non guitar player, the thing that impressed me most was the guy on the left with the jackson guitar.... His body didn’t move whatsoever. Flawless technique. Otherwise, everyone here is very musical and these guys get major props. Cool video.

this is the only cover of "Stars" I've ever heard that even comes close in doing justice to the original ... and, I mean, the original had like 40 superstars? and the best of the best in metal with the king Ronnie James Dio at the forefront and at his very best, Geoff from Queensrÿche, guitar solos by Yngwie, Vivian Campbell, Neal Schon, George Lynch from Dokken and so on and so on ... anybody else that tried to cover it fell really short, but these guys do an amazing job, guitars, singers and rhythm. way to go!! ... and they look so square, it's funny ... so where are they from? the names sound Chinese or Korean, I would guess, I don't know enough about oriental languages and I don't recognize the writing .... but let the music do the talking ... woo hoot !!

+fiese friesin ... yes, these Korean dudes are superb doing "Stars" and I was right up front pointing it out, but, please, let's not get too carried away saying they are better than the original version which was like 40 or 50 musicians !!! , the cream of the crop of 80's heavy metal and just the fact that it had the king, RONNIE JAMES DIO !!made it a religious experience ... LOL ... and Geoff Tate vocals are mesmerizing too .... and then the guitar players !!!!! Vivian, George from Dokken, Neil, a couple of guys I can't even put the names to the faces or am really familiar with their bands yet they kick so much ass .... and Yngwie !! (quote: _I love the fact that he includes the middle initial and writes his name as Yngwie J. Malmsteem to make sure you tell him apart from all the other Yngwie Malmsteems out there_ .... _laughing really hard_ ... ) but, I mean, if you just play the audio of both versions in the background while you are working around the house without looking at the videos both versions sound one just as good as the other (except for Ronnie James' vocals)

It's f*cking amazing! In "Stars" the black shirted singer stands as a Dio/Halford interpreter, whereas the white shirted guy stands for all the others! The G3s, skilled as hell no doubt, but what stayed in my ears is a monotone "burble burble bur-burble". They played some 3 millions notes with zero emotion. On the other hand (the other side of Pacific if you prefer) David Gilmour, to bring an example, plays 3 notes but with 3 million tons of emotion... These dudes got something wrong about being a guitar player...
