Chad! This was by far the best review of this line I've seen. Thank you so much for showing the locker and all the pieces in such detail! The top down view was really helpful for that. I did miss the reaction on your face to seeing the doll for the first time upon opening the box. It sounded like it was big smiles! Great video, and I'm off to get the doll now.

I really hate Mattel for using poly hair. I truly liked this line when I first saw it but I refuse to fill their pockets with more money when they keep giving us poly hair.

this is my fav g3 line so far tbh because of how cohesive it is. i don’t like the poly or the feeling of thinking the doll is hella wonky though 😭. however my favs from this line are lagoona and cleo i’m so happy to have them both. i wanna reroot them w/ nicer hair but i have never rerooted before 😭

I love these and have Lagoona, but when I first saw the Frankie doll, I thought it was Abbey! 😮 I feel like they missed a huge opportunity to release her with this line. I also love the POV above your desk. ❤

eye placement so good. with the ridge in the sculpt perfectly in the middle of the top lash line on both eyes. So jealous. My girl is so wonky bless her haha. You have much more lower blue liner than i do. so so jealous

This is a really pretty doll. What a shame they used polypropylene hair for her. One of my favorite Barbie Extra Fancy dolls has light blue poly hair and it really does not feel good and it doesn't brush/style well. Tired of corporations taking shortcuts to increase their profit margins. I too will be watching reviews before buying. They didn't even paint the bandages on the mummy ice cream all the way around. I was super surprised to see the really cool details with the shoes. Love the cats and hieroglyphics! That stole is amazing! I really like the top down camera angle for looking at details of the doll and accessories. The cat lipstick was so cool!

I was excited for MH Gen 3 at first, but with the actual show being exclusive to Nickelodeon and Paramount Plus (taking away many people's ability to bond with and learn more about the characters) and a lot of the newer dolls having Polypropylene hair that is somehow worse than the hair used on the Signature Gen 3 Cleo doll, I haven't been buying most of them, and I have been a bit turned off from buying them. I just feels too corporate now and not like the unique, creative, more experimental Monster High that I grew up with and fell in love with as a teenager. Gen 3 Twyla being Autistic is amazing representation, though, and she may be my favorite character in MH Gen 3! I also have her Creepover Party doll, and she is so adorable! I also heavily favor Shadow High in my collection currently because they are just so breathtakingly beautiful to me with their inset eyes, their long, beautiful soft Nylon hair, their more goth/alternative aesthetic, and the quality of their clothes is just so amazing! I even have 3 sets of Storm Twins now (2 out of box, 1 mint in box), and I intensely love them, and they make me feel so mysteriously happy somehow!🖤💜

Sadly all the skulltement secrets 2 are poly but the monster ball clawdeen has Saran so I’m happy with that

Hey Chad just wanted to let you know that Skulltimate Secrets series 1 Cleo definitely has saran as well. Its very pretty, it has this kinda I don't know iridescence to it. I dont have the Ghoul Spirit for comparison but is it like that too? I am over poly too, I think its a sensory issue at this point because it makes me toenails curl, grrr!

Wow, they really changed the face. I like it, but I personally don't get Cleo from the face. Like when I envision, I go back to wave 1 with the sassy pouty face mold. I know they changed the faces G3, but they could have done the makeup differently. That's only my opinion. I like sharp features on dolls. If you do a reroot on her, can you make a video? I'd love to see you color match hunt and see the results.

I wish I knew the trick to identifying doll hair fibers. I can usually tell if it is that horrible acetate hair because it is impossible to work with or fix. But after that, I am never sure.

I wish they got rid of the chest articulation and gave us saran. if a budget doll can have no chest articulation and saran, skulltimate secrets could do the same

My g3 signature Cleo has Saran hair but some have polypropylene hair, if her back says R21HF she has Saran and S02HF she has polypropylene

great in depth review- love this line of monster high-cleo is fab-its such a shame they have poly hair as it cheapens the doll-i hope mattel stop using it-i,-m sure they could find similar colors in saran- better than poly

It's ok if you don't plan to style their hair much, but it sucks if you actually have to style it. I just bought MLP Princess Tiffany I got her because I wanted a solid white pegasus. Her hair was a mess. I did manage to make it look nice, but the tinsel still pops up. If It wasn't a 40 year old toy, I would yank the tinsel out.
