Drexler did all he could to stop MJ. MJ was just too damn good. Unstoppable.

Looking at the bulls gameplan, Steve Kerr really indeed learned from them.

That was a very very good Chicago Bulls team. 67-15 and overcame plenty of adversity. I still think 1996 was better and deeper.

Jordan in those last couple minutes! Hanging 8 ft jumper, the baseline lay, the 2 made FTs... Unstoppable!

Phil Jackson's comment about Portland self-destructing back in Game 1 aged perfectly.

I MUST ADMIT - I AM SHOCKED: TEX WENT TO PHIL AND TOLD HIM TO BENCH JORDAN!!!! HONESTLY....I AM STUNNED....BUT LOOKING BACK AT ALL THS, TEX WAS A TRILLION PERCENT RIGHT!

This Portland team in today's NBA would have won 65 games at least if they were in the East.

@@inigobantok1579 but that team would either crush or go the distance with any team in today's west or east conference

Not even close. Portland had 2 3s made this game out of 7 attempts. They a would get smoked by this era of shooters in the nba. 1-5 can shoot.

This was a closer game and series then I remembered. Like Utah, it went 6 games and was a close 6th game. However, the Utah series seemed FAR tougher and more competitive then the Portland series. I remember it seemed Chicago was in no danger of losing to Portland, whereas the second Utah series was tough, competive and a nail bighter even though I wasn’t surprised Jordan pulled it out again.
@eazye5194 жыл бұрын
Nah this Portland series was tough as hell. I fell like Phoenix was the best team they faced
@Interscope1008 ай бұрын
Nah, Portland was tougher, Jerome Kersey did a good job guarding Jordan! 97 & 98 Jordan was scoring his usual points in the series even when he was sick!

@oliversmith8445 Interesting insights! I'll check out the video. I noticed a number of non-existent calls against Drexler for Jordan.

Crazy how players used to have to leave the court for the locker room after winning the championship due to fans rushing the court.

In the early 90's era the Portland Trailblazers were not a push over.They appeared in the 1990 NBA Finals and 1992 NBA Finals losing to the Detroit Pistons and the Chicago Bulls respectively.Michael Jordan was in a league of his own.Its hard to beat the Goat Air Jordan what a beast!!!
