I am from W Bengal and I am sad to see only ordinary hand loom sarees. Bengal’s baluchari, jamdani, batik, nakshi kantha, swarna charis, muslin etc were not even mentioned. Prices are very high.

Didn’t cover traditional patterns of Banaras, Kanchi,Lacknowi sarees of UP . Organza sarees are not only a pattern of one state. Assam silk doesn’t look like muga silk at all, that saree looks more like banarasi sarees. Authentic muga sarees are different. Please educate yourself before you present. And kantha stitched sarees are actually from West Bengal

This is not muga silk, the presentors are misleading the public. Firstly spelling of muga is wrong, second colour- muga silk is always golden brown or beige not pink and purple.The design on muga silk depicts the rich heritage of assam which is woven not the ones shown.

I am not from Assam but from odisha. But this saree is not muga silk at all. Muga silk has its own colour. And its not even assam silk. I have assam silk mekhela chador and bought it for 14k. The saree he shows as muga silk is more like banarasi saree. Sambalpuri cotton saree is not at all 13 k. If you go to govt shop like bayonika you can get it for 5-6k that to be pure cotton. And one can get good silk sambalpuri saree for 12-13k onwords. If you spend like 18-20k you can get the best of best design in it. The seller is totally unaware of silk sarees from India and selling sarees twice even theice the price of original price.

From Assam here; and that's totally no Muga; Muga is only of golden colour no other colour is available in Muga and Assam Silk or Pat is totally a different material more similar to kanjeevaram.

I think sari is the identity of India no other country wears sari more then India after wearing sari every women looks under because sari reveals you the most attractive parts of you women body like half of your chikni kamar your neckline your armpits your back and lackak of your body so women who wears sari and in her mood when ever walks she looks amaizing. The 'Tant' sarees looked more like cotton handloom sarees...West Bengal has so many more varieties - Murshidabad silk, Bishnupuri silk, Kalakshetra, Muslin, Jamdani, and last but not the list my all time favorite Baluchari & Swarnachari...Batik and Block prints are also specialities of WB along with Kantha stitch... However, you collections are too expensive...

Assam saree shown here doesn’t resemble at all with the state’s traditional design works/ motifs. Should have gathered some more information before displaying, about Muga fabric too(i.e. golden silk) and Assamese ladies traditional attire is called Mekhela Chador( 2 pieces draped). Comes in few other silks and cotton etc .
