Brown Trout on the Arkansas' White River

Ya I went to the white river last year and caught many little brown trout many rainbows and a little brook trout

Do you take the barbs off the stick bait? I notice the hooks come out easy. Which model of G3 boat are you using?

That was the G3 18DLX Jet. Yes we bent the majority of barbs down to release.

It seems to be pretty easy catching rainbows on the White. I'd say go towards the dam and throw a little countdown rapala. Big browns in the winter will be hugging the banks especially by big rocks. Jerk baits when the river has a good current

What size line do you recommend?

We were using 4lb mono. Lighter you can use the better
