G4 Operator Review - with an Eberlestock Designer

This ruck is so over the top it's hard to make an sop for it. I've decided to run it with my sleep system at the bottom of the main with my clothes in dry bag on top "how I ran my molle 2 si." The zipperd pouches in between the main and vert pouches are such easy access I have my wet weather stuff on both sides "tarp, poncho, jacket, and bottoms." You can either put your tripod in the vert pouch but I like to strap mine to the outside for quick access. All my optics go up top cause it's soft and you can take it completely off for stalking and as a shooting rest. . Good video, your bags are so technical I think the more you explain the design behind em like this helps ppl set em up to their full potential. . Thanks for everything you guys do over there, military support and the finest quality! Clearly I can write a paragraph about your products! P.s. the drag bag is insane!

I have several Eberlstock packs and bags. I use a Switchblade daily. My go to for PRS is the Gunslinger II, but my favorite overall is my G4 Operator. I have taken it hunting all over the western US. Love that pack!

Have you considered making this in 500D or something else lighter material? How much weight would it save if you did?

Love my g4 operator. I got the older model but it still works great. Just got back from a trip in the mountains in Northern California testing out my cold weather gear and as always my pack performed amazing. I definitely had it packed to its max on this trip testing out the bulky cold weather gear. Can't wait for the next trip with my pack in a few months for my summer back pacing trip. Going to get the mainframe for deer hunting and my longer trips later this year.

Hello, may I ask about the new design of g4 belt? I like it very much. When I bought j79 the year before last, I also bought PADDED HIP BELT (dry earth). When I bought g4 last year, I also bought PADDED HIP BELT (military green). But I found the waist size of PADDED HIP BELT is too big for me, my waist size is 30" So I had to change the original belt back. Can the upgraded g4 belt be used by people with a waist size of 29"-30"? Has the waist circumference of the PADDED HIP BELT sold on the official website been adjusted? Can it be used with a 30" waist circumference? If possible, I would also like to use a belt with a larger stress-bearing area. Thank you eberlestock.

The new belt design has only changed the strap design, the padding length has not been changed!
