Perfect review. Anyone can help with the Larry track name?

I know it’s trivial but is there a means to display the drive on the right side through to the reverb on the left, so it’s like physical stomp boxes on the floor?

Hi Cooper! Thanks for making this video about the VP4. If you don’t mind, I have a question for you. Maybe you could make a video about this? Is there a way to use SPDIF in/out in the signal chain? Say before the amps, after the volume block for example, for drive pedals etc… I’m considering getting the VP4 to use in place of drive blocks with my FM9. I use delay plus multi delay, etc. and CPU is always an issue. I just updated to the newest firmware and CPU is even higher. (sounds amazing.) If the SPDIF won’t do it, if I run the VP4 output block 3- input block 3… 1. Is there any sound degradation compared to using one of the drive pedals in the FM9? Considering that I’ll use great cables, etc., will there be signal loss or noise that you’re aware of? 2. Will the stereo effects in the rest of the signal chain, delay, chorus, etc. still be stereo if a mano signal is coming back into input block 3? OR/AND will the stereo effects from the VP4 come back in to the FM9 as stereo? (I tested all this with a Line 6 HXEffects and it’s mono back in no matter what.) Thanks!

So OUT 1 to amp input OUT 2 into amp loop. Should give you FX in front and FX in the amp loop?
@harrymo723 ай бұрын
Yep, you have to enable 4cm in the global settings and you can assign each of the 4 blocks to pre or post per preset.

Great video. Such a bloody shame that 4CM is only mono!

Using 4 cable method, could I use the drive pedals first, put my Strymon Big Sky and UAFX Ruby in the middle, and wet effects/delay after the loop? The UAFX doesn’t have an effects loop…but that might be a way to work around it.

Yes - Andy Wood has a great video on his channel where he talks about using the VP4 with pedals!

For me it would by ideal product if it has atleast one external switch,for amp channel switching.For non midi amps

Just get a small midi - relay box.

I think that it should have more blocks and parallel signal processing. I know that the effects are excellent, but being a Fractal, I thought that it would be more powerful.
@harrymo723 ай бұрын
The effects have parallel routing configurations. Check out the manual on their website

@@harrymo72 yeah, my bad. I've seen it on TGP 'm still a bit disappointed by the number of blocks, but Fractal is still Fractal. Not for me, but not as bad as I thought.
@TheAnonymous613 ай бұрын
@@moroboshidan7960yeah. Though, if I compare to strymons or eventides, this looks like a bang for the buck. If you read their wiki, they say there is a potential to add two more blocks. But, better to wait and see then to buy because of a possibility.

Question: can you add the fc6 to this unit to have more effect options?

Why is there such a disparity between US and EU pricing? Don’t they all come from china?
@G66eu3 ай бұрын
When comparing the US price to the EU price, remember to include freight, duty (approximately 4%), VAT (approximately 20%) and the three-year warranty which is included in the EU price. Taking these factors into account, you will see that the prices are equivalent.
@TheAnonymous613 ай бұрын
@@G66eu Are you saying there is no Freight, duty, and VAT in the US? If they all come from China, then the only thing different between US and EU is perhaps the option of the 3 year warranty with the other fees differing only by a little? Kindly enlighten me or us all who are curious.
@G66eu3 ай бұрын
@@TheAnonymous61 The prices in the US are shown without tax, in Europe we have to show the prices including VAT by law. The VAT in Europe is 19-27% and the duty about 4%.
