Thanks for sharing all your knowledge. This was an eye opener for me to be able to audition different amps and cabs. You’re a genius. All modeling platforms need a Cooper Carter! Cheers

Been a Fractal user for 8 years and never paid attention to that feature. It’s a game changer. I will be using this from now on. Thanks!

I've known about this for while. Use it all the time. If you're building your own patches I would say this is the single most important feature to know about in Axe-fx, makes a massive difference.

Thanks for the reminder Cooper! I’ve been a long time Helix user & have hade my FM3 & FC6 for about 2 years and just could not get out of it what I needed until I took your course and got a really good understanding of how it works. Using it live a lot now because of your course.

Awesome. I had no idea. thank you for this and all the tips you share. One thing that was confusing to me as a 'newbie' is given the insane amount of cabs, one had to got back to where you left off and test them one at a time. I'm also concluding the AC-20 has become my new fav amp that covers the most sounds for me.

Brand new FM3 owner. This is very timely! Thanks!!!
@leifpearson52054 күн бұрын
Yeah The greatest thing as I thought about it as well is that you can leave your looper running with the correct tone settings on your guitar, load in the cab that you want to use and then pin the amp and nail the tone! I will definitely be using this though my time saver has definitely been Austin buddy patches thus far..

Wow! I’ve had an FM3 for a couple weeks now. And I found it very frustrating to go back and forth with the guitar and mouse. That little tack is bad ass. Thank you sir

I discovered this a couple of months ago. no idea why my brain never worked it out. been using Axe FX since 2016. I think Fractal should make the Speaker Impedence curve much more prominent possibly in the surface menus in axe edit because it's such an important part.
@BillVerdon4 күн бұрын
Yep…. Use this feature often… huge time saver. Wish my Helix had this

Id love to audition cabs with an "edit mode" on the footswitches. For testing like this, don't ignore the looper either!
@pauliusmscichauskas5585 күн бұрын
I knew about this, but It's weird to me that this isn't default behaviour. Why not make it work like that by default, and it would only jump out of the menu if you double-clicked an amp,. or pressed "ok"?

If you sometimes feel those Yamahas are somewhat difficult to work with or sound off, those aren't designed to be on their side. 🫡
@coopercarter5 күн бұрын
Appreciate the concern, but I just use them for listening to Netflix or KZbin in the background while I work, and they block the TV if they're vertical lol You think I'm mixing on HS5s when I've got two Genelecs in the room?? 😉
@AndriesdeHaan5 күн бұрын
@coopercarter ok!👍 Between the 2, I only worked with the Yamahas and they are known to reflect issues in a mix extremely well, making them not such a great option for casual listening, but great for mixing/mastering and therefor I assumed you used them as a second pair for what they were intended. My bad! I do get it, though!
