My car has leather on those pieces that you replace, do you know if you can remove the black trim and put your original trim onto the trim with ambient lighting ?

Ordered, tried to install and returned. The connection point of the harness to the strip doesn’t fit underneath all the trim pieces. Also, the electrical tape connection is a deal breaker as its not secure enough

Hey, for some reason my dash ambient light turned off and is no longer working. The aftermarket lights stopped working as well. Any tips?

Check the harness that connects the wiring under the glove box... that's the only thing that could make something go wrong. Could've possibly disconnected itself.

yes, but judging by the connection, the color of these panels will repeat the color of the legs subgrid!!!! and not the color of the panels in the door cards or the instrument panel!

Nope... Panels. If I switch it to violet/white, the violet from the panels still appears instead of the white from the floor.

It's connected through the ambient lighting so whatever you can do to the stock lights will also happend to the aftermarket lights.

Take them off with a flat head from the OEM piece and slide them into the new one... they were a little tough to get off, but nothing difficult.

I used a small flat head screwdriver and popped them off.. kind of a pain in the ass to be honest, but it worked.

Yeah, same interior. This mod is actually for a g20, not g80, so you'll be alright.
