So the original trim pieces have to go? You won’t be able to get the same result if you add the led light strips in?

Aftermarket part is identical to oem just with the added LED strip.

It’s held in place with a couple tension clips. Should be pretty easy to remove. A set of good plastic trim tools should help.

The kits come with wiring to plug into the existing lights. Not sure how it’ll work if you don’t have any lights. I’m sure with a bit of research you may find something someone else has done.

It’s an addition to the stock lights. It changes color with the stock lights.
