Awesome job. This had to have been a crazy expensive build. New oem parts cost a small fortune. Sure be nice to have a lathe at home.

21 episodes in and that was my favourite. Excited to see this one up and running, I'm at a similar stage with my RMX restoration and I wish I had the patience and drive to do everything as perfect as this.

This has been an epic build and after finding it late, I've been binge watching every evening after work to play catchup. Your work is outstanding and your OCD (which isn't a bad thing) is obvious. Congrats on a great series and a great looking bike. I'm already looking forward to what you have planned next. Greetings from South Africa, keep it coming.

Hairspray (Wife, GF stuff does have a purpose sometimes) is also good for removing and installing grips lol, love how you made your own rollers, always wanted to work in an Engineerring shop, awesome stuff mate.

I don't care what any one else says, you did GREAT getting the authentic Renthal cloth bar pad. I absolutely hate this new plastic garbage world we live in and it makes the build go UP a notch in level of detail by adding this. Excellent, now where can I buy this bike? :P

Thank you for another great episode/video. What did you use to make the chain rollers? Delron? And nice touch with the new bar-pad. I was just curios, what else is in your garage? Do you have the bikes all of the radiator decals on your wall came from?
@G9Garage6 жыл бұрын
Yeah the chain rollers are made from Delrin. Plenty of other toys in the garage :)

Hey Blake thanks for watching! In episode 7 hydroblasting was covered. But, for more info, have a look at Pioneer Finishes website - that's where I get my stuff done and they have quite a bit of tech info on there... Cheers!

they head bearings must be cursed, when me and my dad were rebuilding my 1990 RM250 we were tapping in the head bearings with a hammer, the head of the hammer came flying off and chipped out freshly powder coated frame :( absolutely soul destroying when shit like that happens.

Should be powdercoated kinda a pointless restoration with it
