Gatte ki Sabji: Rajasthani Delicacy in Every Bite!🍲🎥
GATTE KI SABZI
INGREDIENTS :
FOR GATTE :
1 cup Besan
1/4 tsp Ajwain
1/4 tsp Black salt
1 /4 cup Kasuri methi
Salt as per taste
1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp Red chili powder
1 tsp Coriander powder
1 tsp Cumin powder
2 tbsp Oil
1/4 cup Curd
Water as required
Water for boiled
FOR CURD MIXTURE :
1 cup Curd
Salt as per taste
1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp Coriander powder
1/2 tsp Cumin powder
1/2 tsp Kitchen king masala
1 tsp Besan
FOR GATTE KI SABZI :
1 tbsp Oil
1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
1/4 tsp Hing
1 tbsp Green chili (chopped)
1 tsp Fennel seeds
Water as required
Curd Mixture
Gatte pices (bolied)
1/2 tsp Kasuri methi
1 tbsp Coriander leaves (chopped)
METHOD :
FOR GATTE :
Take a bowl and mix besan, kasuri methi, ajwain, fennel seeds, turmeric powder, red chili powder, curd, oil, hing, salt, and water. Mix everything well to form a dough.
Shape the dough into small cylindrical rolls by rolling them between your palms.
Heat a pan with water until it boils.
Carefully add the gatte into the boiling water and let them boil until they are cooked through.
Once boiled, remove them from the water and let them cool slightly.
Cut the boiled rolls into pieces, keeping them slightly thick.
FOR CURD MIXTURE :
Take a bowl and add curd, coriander seeds, fennel seeds, red chili powder, cumin powder, kasuri methi, and green chili. Mix everything well until thoroughly combined.
FOR GATTE KI SABZI :
Take a pan and heat oil in it. Add cumin seeds, hing, red chili powder, kasuri methi, and garam masala,salt. Mix everything well.
Then add the curd mixture and cook until done.
Once cooked, add the pieces of gatte and mix well.
Garnish with coriander leaves before serving.
