This is the best looking 2100 IMO. I'm curious to see if the cordura is comfortable. The concern I have about these strap adapters (like Jays and Kays too) is that now you have 4 spring bars which means there are 4 break points rather than two. I'm hard on watches like you! I'm looking forward to your follow up on this one.

That’s my concern too but the only way to know is to test.

Hi Jim. I have a Panasonic GH6 camera (which might be a good choice for you as it has no recording limit and will not overheat) and due to the power draw it needs a very particular specification of power bank that will work. Maybe your camera has the same issue. You can often also get a battery shaped power source which has a cable attached to which you apply power. Might be worth taking a look to see if something like that is available.

@@JimKinkade I would check just in case the USB adapter can't provide sufficient power. What model is your camera?
@JimKinkade6 ай бұрын
@@ianmaw66 it’s the Sony ZV-1F. It takes a usb c input for power.

@@JimKinkade Hi mate. I will take a look just in case there is an obvious fix.

@@JimKinkade Hi Jim. Just for starters could you check that the menu item 1 MENU → (Setup) → [USB Power Supply] → setting is set to On. The USB power supply must be able to supply 0.5A. It might also be worth trying another cable if neither of these things helped. If you are not using it already you could try the USB cable that came with the camera, or maybe a different cable if that doesn't work. Please let me know how you get on. It may be better to use a plug in the wall power adapter rather than a PC, if you can.

Probably the most fitting G-Shock review out there! 😅 May I ask you how thick the strap is? Looks like a 22mm. I was looking into these adapters to put a nato on a G-shock but will probably just buy this one with the adapters already supplied by Casio and just put a green nato on it, should be sick. Hopefully 🤞

Hey bud, its 21mm strap....and the if you looking to put a pass-through nato, the gap might be too tight for it.

@@philipwillingham5950 hey thanks for the reply! Was hoping to put a 22mm through it as 21 and smaller might be a bit small for my wrist. Thanks anyway for letting me know much appreciated!

You know what, i found an old Daniel Wellington nato strap. I yanked the strap keeper and replaced the GA’s keepers with it. Works like a charm. A little tight, but it gives 100% confidence that the strap stays in place. Back to the OG strap and could not be happier

I got the Jays and Kays adapters and Wrist Candy Watch Club FKM rubber band at my DW5600, and it's more than enough for any wrist I would say...I got almost 8 inch wrist, wearing it loose, and there's 5 more free holes at the band, plus band itself is a good quality, thick band with a double keeper....after a year of wearing every day (not abusing), I don't see any signs of use. The only thing I'm doing is wiping that band almost every day with a wet wipe, since it can become stinky from the sweat....oh yeah, that band had some meeting with the hot frying oil, but again, wet wipe and it was like a new again. Your wrist is just a half inch wider than mine which is really not a lot, you should be able to wear a lot of bands now. G shock bestseller list is useless, the only important thing is what's useful to you. I don't remember that I've ever have a look at that list.
