I can actually believe the interactions in the filler would be real, especially in this case of them being younger. The thing about friends and classmates when you're young (at least for me) is that even if you hang out and have fun fairly often, those days get more and more fleeting as you age, and friendship may start meaning different things to you. Not to mention that very little time apart can undo a lot of the relationship at that age, and friends in elementary school can easily feel like strangers in middle school. For Naruto, he can still feel like he was alone for forever until he reached an age where he really appreciates the relationships more maturely, and also feel the other person appreciate it equally.

Btw whenever you guys get to boruto, I would definitely recommend yall to watch it in subbed. Not only do the episodes come out faster, but in my opinion most of the characters just sound really annoying.

These are filler episodes that don't exist in the manga, so not canon. In the main plot it is well said that Naruto grew up alone and that the first to accept it are Iruka and Team 7. Don't be fooled by filler episodes that pose inconsistencies in the main plot that don't exist
