Wild guess theory! I still believe Amado and Akebi are the two "disgraced" Otsutsuki on the placards at the hideout. Shibai did something to take away their powers/abilities (made them weak humans) In order to be restored to their Otsutsuki-glory there are prerequisites...one of which is Akebi has to be fully restored.

Since it has been confirmed the reason why Kawaki is weaker than Isshiki is simply because Amado modified Kawaki's body and put restrictions to suppress Kawaki's offensive power meaning this includes Kawaki's eye abilities and attacks and when Boruto dodged the chakra rods Easily because it is not as strong as Isshiki, and it cannot be said that Boruto is at the level of Naruto's speed and strength in Baryon mode.

I wouldve loved if shukaku could sense Gaara was about to die, and because Gaara might have some super tiny imprint of his chakra- theyre able to communicate before he dies. It wouldnt be close to as sad as Kurama's goodbye, but it could provide us some level of mutual understanding- similar to the mutual understanding they had during the 4th great ninja war against Madara.

it took long enough for amado to have a significant role in this even if he wasn't a major character in this chapter. the ultimate question is how much of his endgame has been affected by kawaki knowing of amado's control over him, koji not only still being alive but being so far from amado's grasp that he has as little control over him as he does ada or daemon which is none at all, and the shinju becoming more sentient and intelligent the more people they devour. it should be interesting to see what amado's moves are since he is aware of all these factors and all affect his bottom line in some fashion
