@ESPN How dare your analyst say such about a player at 25:10. That is a very stupid thing to say in football where players can develop to world class...Ademola's career has been nothing short of growth and that is why he is being talked about today.
@OneOkRockSamurai9 күн бұрын
How dare you get so bumhurt. It's not stupid. He was an English Int but he was so trash he went to the Nigerian team. Making a move internationally at such a early point in your career says a few things. Not to mention how he couldn't even make it in prem youth teams and went straight to the bundesliga. We've seen it before. Havertz, Reyna, Pulisic, Sancho, do I need to keep going? Point is your wrong and the evidence is STAGGERING. So cope harder

Alonso must have thought it was easy to win games,that was a wake up call n it will help him improve next season coz honestly they struggled wth Atalanta,s pressing
@mxgamerprov37676 ай бұрын
Whoever has seen atalanta knows they attack like rabid dogs and they are ruthless. Even in fifa they press so hard
@russellward46246 ай бұрын
Nah. He thought it's a final so it will be a battle. So play to control the game with extra midfielders and in the 2nd half you can make changes to attack.
@raulfigueroa5886 ай бұрын
Alonso was out coached this game. A target man from the get go would have helped much more (Schick, Boniface). Also, having Frimpong playing a little deeper to get him on the ball a bit further down the pitch. All that being said Atalanta is exactly the type of team that is kryptonite to teams who love to build out the back. Atalanta is a very tough, physical team with very good players. Lookman was extremely sharp and pretty much everyone on the squad was sharp. Atalanta was ready and Leverkusen looked tired

What's actually bonkers is that Jules calls his pal Kompany as "Vini" while also saying that even Gab would be an upgrade over Erik Ten Hag. Juls is the definition of a guy who pretends to be an expert at everything while knowing absolutely nothing whatsoever.

The constant lame disrespect on Mendy from big boy gab really irks me, he uses Mendy as a scapegoat when RM fans rate him highly in critical moments of the season. He was injury prone but he’s been available and fit lately give or take a 2 week knock here and there
@FullstackDeveloper-hh9jw6 ай бұрын
Any Madrid fan that criticizes Mendy is a fanboy that does not understand football, and only plays FIFA. They've gotten spoilt by Marcelo running mostly up that flank, forgetting that a defenders job is mainly to defend - which Mendy does excellently. That last CL trophy would have never been possible if he didn't save a goal on the line. He may be injury prone, but he does perform whenever he is available.
@cvaldes1146 ай бұрын
@@FullstackDeveloper-hh9jw not just marcelo but his predecessor roberto carlos. I agree with your sentiment and I will also add that mendy with tchouameni in the starting line up has a 90% win rate at home

Have any of his players come out and strongly defended him? I haven't seen anything, but that doesn't mean it hasn't happened. If not, that seems like plenty of reason alone.
@coolburnx76 ай бұрын
I don’t get why some fans are defending him so much, he was given power and money to change the squad how he wanted and somehow the club is worse than it was under ole. Sure injuries are an issue but most clubs have dealt with injuries this season. The criticism is definitely valid you can just look at the all time low records he set for Manu.

If someone gives you poor quality ingredients to make omelets with an expectation that your omelets will be the best in the neighborhood then both of you are screwed. The real chef will tell you what kinds of ingredients he needs to make his top quality omelets.

Yes, Poch is full of it!! He knew the job he was getting into. Initially, he wanted to win everything, then the team needed time and, later it was not his team. Finally, he had some success because a starting player got injured. The excuse would have continued next season if he was there. The owners are no fools. I am glad Poch is gone.
