Not only Kerry but Pelosi did that when Bush Dubya was the President. Tulsi was very clear in her stance. Assad was bad, but the ISIS. Al Nusra, Al Queda are far worse. Assad being a Hashemite minority kept the Christians, Druze and Shias safe in a Sunni majority country. She was not willing to support Islamic Fanatics that US was fighting in Iraq, Afghanistan, Africa who were anti-west, anti-women, anti-minority, anti "moderate islam" (an oxymoron, nevertheless ) head chopper but approving directly/indirectly to overthrow its inimical governments across the Middle East.

A written psychological evaluation has Static questions like the one asked by the interviewer. Static questions don't tell you how the person being interviewed is actually thinking, and the reasons they think the way they do. He won't let her answer the whole question as the the Snowden case requires. Once again democrat communists are acting like children. They asked about the Russian Threat. How can you answer that when you don't have all the intel. When she gets to the position and is provided that information, she could provide a definitive answer if they are an actual threat. On the surface from what I know, Russia is not a "military" or "economic" threat. They have old machinery to produce basic small arms like the AR-15. The USA has denied Russia computer chips require for military applications. Our biggest threat is the Communist Democrat Party attacking our rights. NATO and the WEF are also a threat to the USA.
