As a latino, im so found of traditional latin music (salsa, bachata, merengue; you name it) any wrong move, and people will criticize and mock you, I really love the hard dance scene because is you just dance as you feel it and go bonkers and there is no right or wrong way to do it, you just let the sound waves move you❤

I used to Hakken at my local anime con raves, since that's basically the only place to hear proper HHC or gabber. I'm hoping there's gonna be more of the older 2000's era tracks playing at cons in the coming years, since there seems to be a resurgence of Y2K era aesthetics and whatnot

When I moved over to Rotterdam in the early 2000's to distribute US breakcore I found myself at odd places in the middle of no where. Squatted abandoned research labs, office buildings, and all sorts of crazy shit. I witnessed on more than one occasion 1000+ Dutch ravers loosing their minds dancing like this to Nausenbluten. I had no idea what I was watching.. the closest thing I had ever seen similar was in that dumb Hooligans video game. I'd always email back to my friends in Milwaukee (this was before mobile video) trying to explain what the hell this "dance" was.. and I never could really sort it out.. "Its like that weird Chicago house dance, yeah the "hat dance", but they do it at like 220bpm.." "So they just run in place?" ahhh "Kinda.. but no.. It's kinda like Texas Line Dancing, but to Gabber.." 🤣🤣🤣 There will always be a place in my heart for the crazy fucking Dutch and thier 4 day bender tekno weekends. I only managed to last 8 months.. 🤣
