I didn’t even want to learn how to shuffle but this was recommended to me and damn you are such a good instructor that now I wanna do it. Also “practice doesn’t make perfect, practice makes improvements” is great.

Hey, I felt exactly the same way as you 3-4 years ago. As I was learning how to shuffle no one else seemed to know about it or seemed interested at all, but we live in a different generation now! Everyone knows about EDM and shuffling and there are events held world wide for people who are interested and love raving just like us! Don't mind your school and just do you! Do what you love because you know you can't stop loving it (: You'll find people along the way, trust me.

Thank you so much for a simple yet detailed explanation! I'm hoping to learn to shuffle! Right off the bat after watching this video a few times i got the moves down (since i have shuffled before and done a few of these moves before) i just need to keep track of balance, and muscle memory (is that what you call it?) This is a very, very good tut. I will say that it doesn't matter what kind of shoe you use but shoes with flat surfaces are typically better (no running shoes) The heel tends to be uneven and you can lose balance easily. You can shuffle in running shoes but flat shoes (like skate shoes) imo are better

Don't worry about staying on beat for EVERY song. You've already noticed that it looks sloppy and you get tired, until you've built the stamina there's no point! If you record yourself it honestly looks completely fine as long as you're TRYING to stay on beat
