I was a casual fan of Taylor and after seeing this documentary I dived into her discography and now she is my favorite artist. I think it´s so important to like the person that you are a fan of. I enjoy how every "era" and album have their own story and they are a big statement or moment. That´s why I can´t choose a favorite and there isn´t any that I don´t like because every one of them played a huge part in her life.
@ibluess.m3 жыл бұрын
same, i knew her music since 2nd grade (1989 hits) and liked them but was never a fan of her (not sure why)... as I grew older, I started being obsessed with lover which was probably why I started gaining interest on her.. early quarantine was when I literally dug deep into her catalog, then I watched this documentary by the beginning of 2021 and was shook. I respected her so much more, almost as if I hadn't respect her already. SHE is my idol and my role model and I love her deeply.
@Adortay3 жыл бұрын
I feel like most people who listen to a substantial part of her discography end up liking it if not loving it. She's an artist known for her albums not her singles but unfortunately a lot of people listen to and judge her based off her singles. Its funny because as fandom there's really no consensus on what her best era is, cause you can pick anyone and everyone will be like ok. Mine is reputation (P.S. I highly recommend seeing the rep stadium tour film, its amazing, that album was made to be seen live) The re-recordings will be extra fun for you lol.
@veronikaptackova64633 жыл бұрын
@@Adortay You're right. I can't wait for reputation. It feels so good as a whole. I love the tour movie, I watch it all the time. Everytime I want to listen to reputation actually, because we only have the stolen version now.

On the 2nd anniversary of the documentary! Perfect timing! Edit: That was an amazing reaction! I got into her music about two years ago (folklore the ultimate game changer) and still I find myself amazed and inspired by her strength, passion and talent. I went into this documentary not expecting much but mindless entertainment but was left in tears, (im not a crier lol) awestruck after witnessing her openness, learning so many things about her, the workings of her mind, the industry and so much more which is just testimony to how you must not make assumptions that others' lives are so easy. I maybe exactly half her age, but feel so insanely proud of her every achievement and it just fills me with glee when other people recognize that too! Everyone wants to know that the person they whole-heartedly support are good people and well, I definitely learnt that this is an understatement when it comes to Taylor (as if it wasn't crystal clear from her discography already). I completely agree that her composing and writing process is soo fascinating!! PS You look amazing in that turtleneck oh and also I'd love to see you react to her albums, given how good you are at breaking down things and finding little details!

It really never makes sense why she gets the amount of hate that she does. It’s just not fair for her. People will do pretty much anything to ruin someone’s reputation like that and the fact that she came back stronger than ever before just shows how impressive she can be. The first time I started getting into her music was way back in 2014-2015, and ever since that whole Kanye situation transpired the way it did, I really started having a lot more respect for her and her creativity. She just seems like the most relatable and down to earth person to learn more about. And I can never get enough of it. She’s a strong woman. And women overall deserves as much success with what they do. Keep up the reactions. Definitely been enjoying them. 🙏🏼

You have no idea how happy I am right now, seeing you appreciate her and acknowledge her worth as a "Not a Dedicated Swiftie (yet)" feels so F*cking awesome. Love your reactions, I keep saying it, but it's true so... Do hear all the Reputation tracks, you're gonna love them. Then you can start with Fearless Taylor's Version and you know, all the rest. And for those whose new versions have been released, do hear only those, and not the older versions. That's another thing she's fighting for ~ rights to own her own music and ensure her hardwork does not get tossed around like a trophy at an auction

I’m so excited for you and also to be a part of your Taylor journey. It was so awesome watching you fall in love with Taylor and to see that you really appreciated her honesty and openness and empathy and creativity. I loved that you accepted her for the authentic person she is, instead of dismissing her or invalidating her like a lot of people who have reviewed this documentary have. You're other reaction videos are great too, you are so observant! I was trying to decide what to recommend and I think maybe since you liked the snippets you heard in the doc, ,maybe Lover or Reputation? Thanks again for making such a great reaction!

I loved your reaction. You are actually me three month ago. I didn´t know much about Taylor aside from the music i heard on the radio in the last couple of years (living in Germany, that´s not as much as you hear in the US, I barely knew any of her country stuff). But after listening to All too well (10 Minute Version) for the first time, i kinda became obsessed with the song and wanted to know more about Taylor. Three month later i know all her albums, seen every interview, live shows (you gotta watch the Reputation Stadium Tour on Netflix). I have the feeling the more you learn about her, the more you like her because she is such a strong person after everything she has been through. Fun Fact about Trump liking her music 25% less: she gave discount of 25% on her merch after that statement :D Edit: If you like her making her music, you should watch her "Making of a song" here on YT, there are Videos for a couple of songs.

I came into this doc, fully aware what she's been through coz i became a steadfast swifties since Fearless came out in 2008. & i've been following her life, like my own life eversince. We been through fun times, good times, bad times & turbulence times. Still, after watching this, i realize there's still tons about her that i didn't know. & i guess, u realize by now, why, we swifties love her to the death. It's not just about her amazing music. She's our idol, our sister, our mother, our friend, our bff's, our patriot and our angel. I really love ur reaction & ya..try find time to listen to her music. U can start anywhere coz her music is so universal like none other. Just, try not to listen to any stolen version first which is Taylor Swift (debut), Speak Now, 1989 & Reputation coz these 4 albums be coming out soon (soon in this context means within 2 years). Unless u can borrow these cd's through friends - if u've any friend who are a swifties, chances, they got it. But, if u can't help it, listening through streaming, i believe, no swifties will blame u for doing so. 😊
