@sr22915 ай бұрын
@suezmac3803 No, it was not the evening after the Moab incident. The Moab stop was on Aug 12. Brian flew back and forth to Florida on Aug 17 and Aug 23. Why do you believe she wanted to save herself?
@sr22915 ай бұрын
Did Gabby want to be saved? Gabby called her mother from the backseat of the police cruiser. These statements are from the Petito v Moab lawsuit. 3. Gabby contacted her family to tell them that the couple had been fighting, that Brian had hit her, and that the police had been called. The family immediately responded by beginning to arrange for Gabby to fly home and to have her van shipped home, to separate her from Brian. 98. Gabby then called her parents. 99. On that call, Gabby’s parents demanded that Gabby fly home to get away from Brian, offering to pay for her ride to Salt Lake City and her flight home. But upon learning that the police were involved, Gabby’s parents accepted Gabby’s assurances that she should continue her trip. Gabby’s parents relied to their detriment on the police officers involved to evaluate the situation and intervene as necessary to protect Gabby. But for the officers’ failure to investigate and follow Utah law, Gabby’s parents would have intervened to end the trip and bring Gabby home.
What incredible strength this family has shown from such tragedy. They are doing amazing work and doing Gabby proud ❤

Brian gave me the creeps from day 1. They were such a miss match. The minute they were stopped by police in Moab I knew...her behavior was typical of abuse, whether it was physical, emotional or just being gaslight. When you've been there you recognize it immediately. The way Brian was coming off as Mr cool with the cop like one of the boys was fake as he__ _ !!
@SummerDays-ut5gt5 ай бұрын
Gabby was the aggressor, that was determined twice by law enforcement. How do you expect an abused male to act? That's a side to domestic violence that's never talked about. Gabby's behavior was spot on for a typical abuser, from trying to maintain control of Brian, to explaining what set her off, I love him, I didn't mean to hurt him, apologizing profusely.... CLASSIC cycle of domestic abuse. She admitted assaulting Brian, trying to justify her actions, but downplaying the level of violence. Do you honestly think he got those injuries from a "swat"? *“I hope you understand when I’m upset it’s cause you make me love you too much. Now…stop crying!!! and come home and say you love me with a big hug. I love you.”* These are the words of an abuser, anyone who can't see how disgustingly manipulative and controlling it is doesn't have a clue about domestic violence. It's too bad the biased media pushes a narrative instead of reporting the news. You should investigate the witness who flagged down an officer, giving a hand written witness statement, because Gabby started punching Brian 1st. It was never included in the reports. There's not a single doubt in my mind, Gabby was a typical domestic abuser.

To @SummerDays-ut5gt, Amen to you, I can understand why people can't see that this girl was the aggressor. I think the media gets to use this case to fill their time , because she was a pretty girl and there are lots of pictures for they coverage piece they do. Also people seem to think only men can be agressive. From the court case with the parents and other evidence it show this girl had emotional problems and this young man was just trying b to help her by pleasing her and giving into her . That police stop video shows it all, she even tells the police she gets triggersd. And why does the family of Gabby us have a foundation to raise money? For what? More lawsuits?
@SummerDays-ut5gt5 ай бұрын
@@elmadixon8293 You are so far in my thoughts I can't tell if they're yours or mine ....lol! I've said the EXACT same things. Notice that her parents held a fundraiser hours after the FBI released this additional information? Typical grifters. They started selling GP themed merchandise days after she was found. Go Fund Me accounts, private donations and what grieving parents are paid speakers at a convention for crime junkies. Nevermind it took them over two weeks to report her missing and she hooked up with Brian after they all kicked her out of the house. The media is definitely to blame. They created emotional content, they didn't report the details of the case that painted Gabby as the aggressor. Anyone who has any critical thinking skills can look at that cop cam and see a manipulative abuser crying her way out of an arrest. She spends nearly the entire time trying to control Brian, down to where he was going to sleep. I found the baby talk and whining to be manipulative, to appear less threatening so the cops wouldn't separate them. Brian looked grateful for the break. She was definitely a domestic abuser.

She was angry with him & he realized that if she did survive, he wasn't getting out of this one. Maybe during this time Gabbie realized he was thinking of killing her so she got ahold of the gun but dropped it or he knocked it out of her hand or something. What gets me is they said Brian came back for the gun and dropped the van off but did he or did they take it to clean it or sell it after she was attacked and did he do this in the van having blood or something in the van he strangled her to death to ongoing issues here
@midnightmoon35505 ай бұрын
there was a gun in the van. crime scene had shells and marked tree etc in red spray paint.

sounds like he hunted and shot at her then strangled her when he caught her

Stop putting more BS out tthere! Many who travel and live in their van have a firearm to protect themselves!! They might have been target shooting... If the shells were even theirs!!

aiding a fugitive, tampering with evidence, conspiracy after the fact, shouldnt his parents be charged ? and shouldnt he be convicted even after he died... for any lawsuit... her relatives are entitled to compensation from him....

Hey JB... Thank you for your continued care of Gabby's story. I would bet that the arrows and speed loader were used as threats to control Gabby. Twisted DV perps threaten vics and then over time they can just show the vic an associated item to "snap them in line"

It's always shocking when information like that is revealed in domestic violence relationships and where it leads to. I've been lucky to get out with my life every time I was in a relationship like that. My prayers 🙏 for everyone involved. This case made me feel horrible for Gabby Petito and what she was dealing with, and how it led to her fighting constantly for her life.

I think the thing at the top of the drawing is a rear view mirror with a picture or ID hanging from it. That’s my best guess.

Yup lmao you know they also found *5 other missing people* while searching for her..? All thx to her "missing white woman" boost. And I'm not making a political statement or being a prick--I'm just flatly stating the fact that her media coverage lead to these discoveries. And that, in light of that, finding a few weapons lyin' around is rly not THAT surprising.
@kafkaseyebrows5 ай бұрын
no but it sounds like he *did* shoot at her. and the fact that a known abuser kept weapons on hand is a red flag and a way to keep control over her when she was alive. I guarantee he threatened her right before they got pulled over by the police.

@@kafkaseyebrows It sounds like.....? What is that Speculative Filler? Nothing in any reports claims any discharged shells, etc. The Park was full of Campers, no reports of any shooting going on. Don't let that imagination run to far away, they can be hell to catch. I don't know what attracted Gabby to a loser like Brian but it seems to happen far to often.

Heartfelt hugs 🥰 my heart goes out to the Petito family, as a young woman I was a victim of domestic violence, & rape, it’s hard to move away from the perpetrator they are manipulative and scary, I truly believe many women ( some who never tell ) are victims of this sort of abuse. It’s time we women stood strong, stand up and let men know this is not acceptable! Women are in most instances gentle, nurturing, loving and kind, they only want to be loved, given respect, we are no there to be abused, hurt, injured or controlled by men who act like they are god. Sending hugs to all women of domestic abuse, please seek help, don’t let it get to the point where you’re in danger of loosing your life. Get out, get help, get away, 💜💜💜

The Utah police should have sent Brian home to Florida on a plane and had Gabby drive home in her van to her parents in NJ. It's insane how the Utah police failed, Gabby!! The trained police saw Gabby, the victim, as "the primary aggressor" because the police have no knowledge of spotting dark male manipulators!! Men can stay calm, but not a frazzled 20 year old girl and the Utah police used Gabbys emotions against her and said "she was the primary aggressor," eventhough, unbiased witnesses saw and reported they saw Brian hit Gabby multiple times!!!! Why did the police believe Brian over the unbiased witnesses who called 911!? Because the main cop is a wife hater and doesnt even know what it takes to be in a long-term relationship. Typical man can't be responsible for his own actions and blames the female for the man actions!!! Uh no! Sue them! I pray to Jesus Gabby parents sue the shit out of the Utah police that failed Gabby from her abusive deadly dark boyfriend!
