I think doing asmr makes you feel vulnerable and that's why the comments get to you. Please don't get discouraged. If it really is something you want to do you should keep doing it. It is a journey. And no you won't be the best of the best in the beginning, that's normal. Once you get more comfortable doing it you will see improvements! And maybe you have headphones with a little mic? Those work amazing too sometimes! That is, if you want to try working with a mic of course! As I said please don't get discouraged. People who comment mean things won't think about your video anymore once they commented, so I hope you are able to let it go♡♡ much love ♡♡

AHH Tank is so crazy, I love him!! I read the End of Her and gave it 3/5, the writing was easy to read and I found the book face paces but forgettable. I love JP Delaney and gave Playing Nice 4/5. I read it in a day and couldn't put it down! My favourite book by him is Believe Me!

@gabbyreads I know you’ve done videos of if you like the book then you’ll like the movie. I’m not sure if you’ve done one specifically for thrillers and horror though. I’m a HUGE fan of “scary movies.” Slasher flicks are my favorite. But you read so many thrillers, I thought it may be easy for you to make that video and do the classic scary movies like Halloween and Scream, Friday the 13th, I Know What You Did Last Summer.. I would love to see a video like that.. especially as it’s nearing Halloween and as I go to rewatch my tried and true favorites, I want to read a book that it’s similar to. Just a suggestion!

I had never heard of asmr before you did it, the only soothing sounds I was aware of were like nature sounds (Beach waves) but I have really enjoyed it. I watched/listened while trying to go to sleep and id say it helped

I recently read The Night Swim and gave it 3.5 stars. I loved the podcast element and thought it handled the tough subject matter really well. However, the mystery surrounding Hannah and her sister felt so predictable to me. Playing Nice sounds so good! You've definitely convinced me to give that one a shot.

The book Playing nice sounds like a real life situation that happened in the 80's and the people ended up going to court for custody and I'm pretty sure the children involved were around 4 by the time it was all worked out. All of my kids were babies and I remember really getting all of the feels for these parents and children. I definitely will read it. Sounds really good.

Your ASMR video dropped right as I was trying to go to sleep. I was so anxious about not being able to sleep and having to work a 12 hour shift the next day. Your video calmed me so much! I was so excited to watch it again the next night, but couldn’t find it :(. All of JP Delaney’s books are wonderful. They write suchhhh unique stories! The audiobook for Believe Me is particularly amazing because it has a full cast and utilized so many sound effects and other special features.
