Libraries are the best! At my library, just by having a card, you have access to 5 other libraries online! So if my library doesn’t have a certain book, one of the other ones might! And the books they sell are at great prices!!

Gabby, Please hear me out. Just READ Nightwatching. Do NOT listen to the audiobook in tandem. Resist the urge. The audiobook narrator did a horrible job with the children's voices and the antagonist's voice. It brought the book down from 5 stars to 4.75. I truly believe that the voice that you'll create in your head for the antagonist in Nightwatching will creep you out more than the audio. Our own imaginations trump anything what we could possibly hear.

Like my hands wud be SHAKING just after seconds BTW I wanted to buy a book recently, so... Wht do ya'll think about project hail marry? Shld I buy that over Billy summers? My genre is mostly horror nd thriller but I can manage others too if they r intriguing enough for me

Lol, well... you might have to film another book haul video soon, because I just sent you three! Lol All of these sound really good. I will have to check a bunch out! Thanks, Gabby!!! I have read BOTH Emily Wilde books, and I absolutely love them... but, I AM a fantasy girlie. It's very much a grumpy/sunshine, academic rivals to lovers type romance story, and the fairytale aspect is apparent, but... to me, it's not prevalent. What I mean by that is, it's mostly a Victorian set adventure, with a romance at the center, and it just happens to be in a land where fairytale are real. You don't get absorbed into the fantastical as much.

All Systems Red - Oh, I think you will love the main character, Murderbot. It is genderless, and the books follow its adventures learning how to navigate the universe and protecting those it cares about. Murderbot has so many wonderful quirks and the supporting characters are so much fun - lots of action and politics - just such an enjoyable series. I'm glad to hear that it is being adapted.

Most of The Murderbot Diaries are novellas but there is a full length novel as well. They must be read in order as they start from where the previous book ended. I won’t say any more than that, even what my own thoughts are. I just hope you enjoy the first book at least. 😊 Okay, I give in. Murderbot feels like the love child of John McClane, the android from Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy and a couch potato. 😂

I love your energy!! It's so refreshing to see so much genre diversity, especially compared to most booktube hauls I've seen. Let Him In was initially one of my most anticipated books of 2023 but since a lot of my most anticipated releases were flops and because I saw the average rating on goodreads being below 3.60, I didn't end up reading it. I'd be so curious of hearing your thoughts if you end up reading it though

Yes, Martha Wells' murderbot books are so full of snark, i love them!! A security bot that just wants to binge watch its fave soapy tv series 😂. If you like Charlotte McConaghy (i love her books so much) - try Adrift by Brideau. Not as literary leaning, but i got similar vibes. Like McConaghy crossed with Blake Crouch.
