I loved the music video! You made Dead of Winter sound so good that I picked it up from the library. I have finished 4 of the prompts and they all fit into my goal of reading what I own. My first book for the readathon was also Dead of Winter by Darcy Coates and it was 4.5 stars for me and is up there with my favourite horror books ever. Right now I have it as marking off snowy read and a book with a w in the title but I might end up reading Winters Orbit as well. Then, I read The Ancient Magus’ Bride volume 11 for the prompt read in the dark. The Darkness Outside Us is going to be my purple prompt and I haven’t picked a witchy read yet. Love the music video and look forward to new ones in future weens.

I just finished What the River Knows by Isabel Ibañez and I did enjoy it but I feel like its a book that needs to be read physically, I listened to the audiobook and I feel like I missed something somewhere. Now halfway thru Dark Water Daughter and Im loving it. Been seeking female pirate themed books since devouring the Adventures of Amina El Sharafi and this one has pirates and a female main protagonist so it works.
