Both of JP and Gabrielle show so much emotions in this MV, the emotions when you feel when losing someone; suffering, sad, everything-is-not-right, and other negative emotions of losing someone.. Although Gabrielle is dancing, the moves show sad movement and look forceful, like she is masking it(just like how we deal with sadness by masking it to survive).. At last, it shows how instead both of you stuck in darkness, suffocate, both you try to reach and try to get each other because you can't stand lose someone again.. I have short attention span, I can't watch something more than 10 minutes.. MV and music, both are helpful to help me have some entertainment.. although it is short, your MV and voice give me so much to feel and experience.. Love you Gabrielle xo

The power this song and video holds is insane. We are all alowed to be sad, hurt, flawed, and insecure. Nothing in this world says that being any of those things is wrong or makes us "broken". I loved Gabrielle Aplin before and wasn’t sure of this musician singing but then put two and two together I believe he sang Soldiers both of these songs remind me of my ex boyfriend. Every single lyric in this song and in Soldiers reminds me of me and him. But this song I can’t stop listening to we both struggle with addiction he’s been the only one there for me through my mental health struggles when everyone has left and I’m really struggling right now and he is to and every lyric and this whole video reminds me of us it’s heartbreaking.
