I am looking forward to your next video and seeing this project through to its completion. Keep up the great job you do. Stay safe and stay healthy.

It looks good but is gonna leak like a son of a gun with those wind driven rains that we get in Kansas. Looks are only part of a project and Jeff’s gonna find out soon that construction methods for Alabama are different than Kansas is for a reason! Not talking bad about it by any means cause Jeff always does a hell of a job but having lived in both areas, we don’t build the same way in both places. Mother Nature can be a huge bitch when she wants to remind you of who the boss really is.

Hey Jeff.. long time contractor here with a big concern about the second floor joist connections to the A-frame. Please run a min 2x6 " sistered" to the A frame from the joist down to the deck to transfer the second floor load to the foundation. Those screws "in Shear" will fail under any load on the floor more than a few sleeping bags. Overall love the design though. Better safe than sorry. :-)
