Looks great! only suggestion would be to put some kick out flashing on roof so water is diverted away from the window below. I am a contractor in Minnesota, and I am amazed at what you can build so quickly and correctly. Your Kansas house is a great design, should last a long time. Boone
@1982MCI3 жыл бұрын
Not sure why your amazed at what he “can build so quickly and correctly “ Boone. You didn’t really believe deep down in your heart that Jeff was a regular DIY’r like most of the folks that come here to watch him did you? Jeff’s been an actual “Pro” since just before he could actually walk and he was still picking up dried up pine cones in the yard as his binky for when he did hit his thumb with the hammer! Jeff’s every bit as much a professional builder as what you are up in Minnesota. A regular DIY’r doesn’t just throw things together quickly and correctly but when you’ve been doing it some 30 years then it’s like sneaking, it just happens!!
@boone37703 жыл бұрын
@@1982MCI So you are a glass half empty guy. you're trying to turn a compliment into criticism, which is a sad way to go though life. Have a little faith that everyone is not bad or mean. Hope you have a good day.

Here in southern Michigan it's just a short drive to northern Ohio/Indiana to Mennonite country. You can buy Mennonite/Amish cabinets, grills and other needs for an outdoor kitchen on-line. Mennonite and Amish are both orthodox in the following of their religion. The biggest difference in their life styles is that Mennonites drive automobiles/trucks/tractors and use modern conveniences such as electricity and refrigerators.
